I think that CCP should give players more incentive to use citadels, since increases of NPC station market taxes and introduction of jump cloning fee won't be enough to convince some players to move away from NPC stations. Therefore I suggest that docking fees should be introduced in NPC stations. Prices should depend on the size of the hull, starting at 10k for a rookie ship and capsule and being capped at 10 millions for a capital ship. Then people will really have to think twice before undocking! |

Certainly an inconvenience but I could see the sandbox adapting to this in interesting ways. Mobile depots would see a boom in sales. +1
I also imagine people exiting their large hull ships at a deep safe bookmark and warping to a station in a pod in order to avoid fees.

I'm up for seeing where this goes.
Would you be open to NPC faction standing reducing or eliminating the docking fee? (likewise it could also increase if you have terrible standing).
*edit: I like how it's calculated by hull size.

Free docking with your NPC school headquarters may help smooth some things out with new players.
I do like the idea of NPC docking fee reducing or scaling with your group standing.

There is no such thing as a deep safe any more, it should never be considered better to log out in space than in a station. Oh, and most people aren't going to adopt a Citadel because the defences in Highsec are a joke, and till CCP fix that they are just floating loot pinata's and green KB's for hunter corps. |

Thats almost as bad as paying a fee to jump a gate or paying a fee to cyno out of high sec for him freighters.
I know we need more isk sinks in the game but that's a little over the top and besides how would that work with players who dont even undock and just sit in the one station and that is all they ever see for their eve career? |

You could add free docking with your NPC school headquarters to this suggestion. Or use the opportunity to introduce players to Project Discovery (make ISK anywhere).
As for players who don't undock CCP could go hardcore mode and introduce space rental fees for ship and item hangers in NPC stations. Standings with the NPC group increases your capacity threshold for storing items at no charge.

would characters who have no isk in their wallets have a negative isk value in their wallets if they didnt have the isk to cover the fees or would it come from the corp wallet if they were in a play corp and not a npc corp? |

I figure your items would be impounded. You pay an additional fee to get them unlocked.
