Boo hoo.
Got a mission running CNR so income isn't an issue. Got a pilgrim so running around isn't a problem. Finding people to pew pew is.
I've tried wandering around belts. I've tried hanging at gates cloaked and jumping through with the mark so I can immediately attack them. I've tried 0.0. I've tried 0.4. I either find a group of people so wouldn't survive or nano-solo-4000k/s ships I can't tackle.
Given a pilgrim or that type of ship, where do you go to find people to pew pew? Or what tactics to do you use?

Edited by: Lictose on 23/02/2007 14:50:13 change areas, i seemed to find alot of action up near Heyd - Gare... Some solo others in gangs, depends on what ships der are to which ships you catch.. But being in an inty only I had tons of kills, which i found quite nice for an Inty...
Just have a go around other areas try different things, but the 1 an only thing.... the scanner is your friend... a nice hunting system, i would say is Indregulle, has a few planets, but a ****load of belts around those planets, an its only 3 jumps from safe space, so time for some newbs an experienced players to av a fight wid.... or jus get into a corp gang up an go Mara
EDIT - This is a Noob char btw :)

Metagaming is a broad term usually used to define any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, |

I find that the quickest way to find targets (for me, at least) is to simply warp from belt to belt and see what's there. Not very sophisticated but it seems to work and takes less time than fiddling with the scanner.

Only if you're kind of slow with the scanner.
If you use it for a few days you'll know in seconds where ships are, and it has the added advantage of them not moving by the time you get around to warping into their belt.
Not to mention you know they're there so you can act right away.
Oh, and you know what kind of target you're dealing with, so you don't warp in on a battleship that eats you in a second. ---------

I hope to find you blindly warping around in belts sometime soon.
