Hi guys, I have a booster that I use for TVP,
I extracted skills from an alt to train perfect SS with FC2, unfortunately my booster dose not pass on sheild boosts, on the same claymore it passes on skirmish.
No skills have finished training in this time, so in other words 3/6 boosts pass. - This is 24/7 as soon as server comes up if anyone starts a fleet (my toons or other wise) if I start boosting I break and it can not be fixed.
Used someone elses Claymore today almost the same fit, and for 30 minutes 6/6 boosts were passed after 30 minutes one broke and 5/6 passed till down time.
Any ideas as to whats up, CCP given I gutted a toon to fix this responding to my ticket even if it means we look at transfering the SP to another toon would be nice :P

Your English is horrible, but let's see if I can help.
First, are you aware that Skill Injectors have diminishing returns depending on how much SP the character you're inject has? Perfect ship skills will lose about 30% of its total if your SP is above 50 million. And it gets worse the more SP you have.
Needless to say, you always lose SP when stripping a character of their brain goo. |

from EvE Uni Wiki:
Diminishing returns
Depending on your total amount of skillpoints, you receive more or less of the skillpoints stored in the Skill Injector when you use it.
If you have less than 5 million skillpoints you gain the full 500,000 skillpoints (100% worth). If you have between 5 - 50 million skillpoints you gain 400,000 skillpoints (80% worth). If you have between 50 - 80 million skillpoints you gain 300,000 skillpoints (60% worth). If you have more than 80 million skillpoints you only gain 150,000 skillpoints (30% worth).

LOL not what the OP is refering to guys....
@OP
I have had this issue and seems to be one with using a booster alt long term and only boosting. Especially if done with many people using said boosters boosts in a permanent fleet. I have basically restarted boosts, this helped for a while, then I had to relog, again helped for a while, and then I just moved myself around in the fleet comp and that seems to help the best while taking off boosts and reapplying them.
Also check your skills for squads and such that can be a factor as well. If you dont have enough squads or wings and some yahoo makes too many they go down too entirely then.
It is VERY annoying to run fleets while boosts were up and down intermittently. I assume that CCP is "checking" things of the eerrr.... um... "afkish" nature myself.
Have you heard anything I've said?
You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?
That's right.
Had to end sometime.

I think BIAB (brain in a box) is still buggy.
Any changes to a fleet (add or remove members, members leave system or dock, etc,) can cause boosts to break. |

Well that's just plain wrong. You receive the same amount or fewer skill points stored in a Skill injector when you use it.
If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Sorry English is not usually that bad but I wrote this at ~1am with no sleep for hours :P
The issue is not lack of SP, it is that the toon is not transmitting the boosts or skills |

So many muppets in this thread that are too lazy to read the original post.
I think it's related to brain in a box. Please always bug report it with as much info as you can. The logs might, one day, show something. |
