Yeah...let me just change my entire playstyle to accommodate this poorly executed feature. Eh, what are you doing all the time in a class 6 Wormhole? Twiddling thumps? If you can stay in a class 6 you can get some buddies together to have a quick hunt = good loot + SP.

Lies.
Please stop propagating this nonsense.
We are allowed to shoot each other for whatever reason we see fit. Ask a GM, he/she will tell you the same thing.
For crying out loud, where do people get this stuff?
CCP created the mining permit to justify bumping
I say again: BUMPING
Kaybella, why do you feel the need to make things up? CCP created the mining permit? Really?
Yup. Little known fact.
A joint effort between GM Banana and the Saviour of Highsec.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

Oh I nearly forgot to express my gratitude for this feature and the 150,000 "free" skill points I got so far. Not to mention all the fun an social interactions I had because of it.
Why does it look like that during the last weeks the amount of active player went slightly down? Shouldn't be the opposite the case?

There isn't because they just translate "CCP said it would be ok" to "CCP created this for our purpose". It's a way to look more legitimate but it's only really useful to try to make people not petition the case.
Anytime you want to do something that might be viewed by someone as griefing, no matter how legitimate the griefing claim is or not, your best bet is to try to prevent said petition of ever existing in the first place. Whatever you say or link to the player in telling him it's useless to petition can be completely false as long as you succeed in preventing the petition of ever existing. |

Lol if frivolous petitions could stop us, we would have been shut down years ago. We're not that worried about carebears file petitions, they're going to whine no matter what we say.
More or less this happened:
GM Banana> You can't just bump people, you have to be trying to get something out of them.
James 315> You mean like a 10 mil mining permit?
GM Banana> Yeah, yeah I'm pretty sure that would work!
Call that what you will, but since the entire engagement that produced the mining permit was in fact instigated by the GM staff, I'm gonna go ahead and call it "CCP inadvertently creating the biggest source of petitions since lag."
Which is pretty hilarious if you think about it.

Had the GM staff stayed out of it, there would be no mining permit today.
Interpret that as you like.
I'd like to take a moment to thank the GMs for the more than 1 billion ISK I've made selling permits.
