imho, in general the EVE background music is pretty good: about half the stock "jukebox" I don't mind listening to for extended amounts of time (and I wish I could select the tunes I want in the rotation like we could before?) ... but today I want to specifically single out the Citadel expansion logon theme - this is a serous work of art, world class, Hollywood production quality, emotionally *moving* piece of work (yes, imho, of course). Please issue a bonus check to whom ever CCP chartered to produce (or staff composer who made?) this theme. Serious accolades! |

That one in particular does have a kind of beauty to it, doesn't it? Indeed, CCP did extremely well with that one. Sadly, and I'm kind of embarrassed to say it, it's the first time I actually heard it; I usually have a media player running in the background with tracks from Eve and many other games. I've been listening to some old retro game tracks as of late, like DKC and DKC2 of all things, if you believe that. Good nostalgia trip. I do have a playlist of my personal top favorites from a combination of Eve and songs from Trailer Music World I/II from YouTube that this will do nicely adding to.
Thanks for linking it, Xiantra, and thanks to CCP for another awesome track!

"Tomahawks?"
"----in' A, right?"
"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."
"----, you pay me half that and I'll hump in some c4 and blow the ---- out of it my own damn self."
