Was considering training Logi to run incursions with, however I am finding there is a lot of differing opinions out there on what ships are used.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would like to know what Logi ship I should train for at first. I am close to being able to fly the Oneiros, but information I have found seems to discount the Oneiros is a effective answer. |

oneiros is fine, just remember you need logi 5 to fly it properly.
Most people go for basi/guardian because it's possible to use at logi 4
Logi 5 oneiros/scimitar is the most desirable as they have boosted tracking links which the dps LOVE to have |

Thats good news. I already have Gallente Cruisers at 5, and was planning on training Logi V anyway before I did incursions. It shortens my training Q quite a bit.
Thanks for the advice

First of all there is NO best or worst logi ship - it's all situational and depends on which situation you'll be in and essentially which community you'll be running incursions with. Oneiros, which you mentioned is armor logi, which means you'll be limited to armor communities and though there are quite some really good armor communities in incursions, they are fewer than shield ones. Take that into account at least. Other thing is that though oneiros is favored by small groups who run VG sites, the bigger armor community, who's able to run AS and HQ sited in armor format would favor you on Nestor as logi. If you'll happen to fly with community, which runs low sec incursions, then you'll have more chances to participate on Guardian.
All in all Oneiros is good ship and you'll be able to participate in incursions with it. |

Shield groups are easily the most common so odds of finding a fleet are much higher, though along with that comes more competition for spots in fleets so it can vary in practice. Shield do average out at higher isk/hr than armour fleets.
Regardless of whether you stick with armour or go the shield route, the cap independent/ones with the remote tracking computer bonus are favoured most i.e. Scimitar in shield setups, Oneiros for armour.
In Vanguard and Assault sites those will be almost exclusively preferred. For the larger sites the Headquarters, common fleets will have usually around 3 of the capacitor transfer ships i.e. Basilisk in shield, guardian in armour to provide cap to the other ships in fleet.
With ~7-9 logi in a HQ fleet, the odds of getting into a fleet with Scimitar/Oneiros are going to be higher than their cap reliant counterpart. |

The best logi ship is Scimitar. Oneiros is an armor logi so you will be limited to running with TDF? Was making 270 mil/hr with TVP in a Scimitar several days ago with Forsaken Su-un. |
