Suicide ganking and attacking empty defenseless freighter ships in high sec space is definitely not elite PvP combat. Basically it's almost the same as attacking NPC Convoy's traveling in system between stations.
DMC Are you saying that carebears are just NPCs? If so, then what's wrong with CODE? Don't you shoot NPCs? Seems just the same thing. Nice try. So what you're saying is that 'CODE' members are actually PvE carebears. Basically their objective is to destroy defenseless Industrial ships as quickly as possible before Concord NPC destroys them for committing unjustified assault on Empire Citizens in high security.. Yeah, just a bunch of carebears doing PvE. DMC Yeah sure. If as per your words it's just like shooting NPCs, then how could I disagree? No different to you. All just shooting NPCs. Carebears and NPCs, all the same as you say. No need for all the aggression. You're just the same as us. |

Ima Wreckyou wrote: I am glad you ask citizen. James 315 was elected Supreme Protector of Highsec by the whole Highsec community almost 4 years ago. This is not some si-¦ly CCP game mechanic to label your space and this is probably what is confusing you a bit. Instead this is true emergent gameplay and the first true player made democracy in New Eden if not in all of gaming.
CODE. which is only one alliance in the New Order of Highsec enforces the law in the name of James 315. Claiming Highsec and enforcing the Code is obviously only possible trough elite PvP which takes place in the environment of Highsec where the playing field is completely stacked against the agressor. Lesser player rather go to null or lowsec where the playing field is leveled and you can kill everyone without CONCORD and faction police intervention or as I call it "easy-mode PvP".
New players should join a nullsec alliance right away and learn the game there, where you can easily defend yourself. It is a bit strange that CCP let them start in Highsec, where the rules are really confusing to most new players and where only elite PvP is possible.
Seriously ? I've heard some tall tales in the past but this one takes the cake.
By the way, the Role Playing sub-forum is located in Eve Fiction or Live Events Discussion.

Obviously nothing important here, just a bunch of nobodies thinking they own empire space... Hey don't make fun of them they're roleplay pretending that they own highsec Actually its even funnier then that, Lucas Kell said that James315 was very upset over the can flipping mechanics being changed that he created CODE to get back at CCP. It is gloriously funny to be honest...
So you're saying CODE was born from grief and tears? Oh man, this alliance is just too easy to knock. I wish I heard about them sooner, great comedic material here. |

No sorry, not the same. I engage with NPC's that attack me and could actually destroy my ship. I don't unjustly attack Empire Citizens in high sec and I don't claim it as elite PvP.

It makes me laugh a little at these guys who are willing to sacrifice a ship to suicide gank that costs more than my cargo. Even funnier is the other "CODE" pvper-wanna-be who swapped to NPC corp right after the gate guns podded him.
The amusing thing about you "laughing" about the isk values, is they get their ships for free.

These guys remind me of my days in the Army (11B) when those fresh out of basic kids came to my unit with all these hardcore basic training stories. They really thought they were the real deal because they got a uniform and got to shoot a rifle...
in this game when "fresh from career agent" players come to their gate, they haze them with catalysts. Its amusing you don't see the parallels between yourself and the recruits you used to bully.

Or the MPs who thought they were "almost" infantry...
CODE guys are like "unarmed ship suicide ganking in hi sec is almost pvp so we are pvp"
This guy is bombing me with emails about my "crap Badger hi sec fit" haha!! These people are real!! Little-man syndrome exists even in altered-sci-fi-reality.
Your badger fit probably was crap because if it happened under gateguns, a properly fit one may well not have died at all - ie this was a PVP encounter you could have won, but failed at.

Sepheir Sepheron wrote:The cyber rp is funny but really no sov, no influence on any factors, that makes you a non-factor. Pretty much just noobie griefers kek If you think sov has anything to do with influence you must be very new to EVE. Sov is a Nullsec k-space only thing. Nullsec is just one part and not really the place wher all the amazing things happen. Lowsec, w-space and highsec don't know a sov mechanic and still there are alliances who claim the space and have influence there.
I don't really care if you think we don't have influence. I think our alliance killboard says something different. To control space means to project power, which we are doing and because of how Highsec works we have to suicidegank our targets. It is the right tool for the job. People can't claim highsec in the same sense they can't claim lowsec or w-space, just that power projection in this areas is much simpler and you don't have to deal with a invincible all powerful NPC police. This is why Highsec PvP is elite PvP, no matter how much you think you are the hard guy for fighting on a completely leveled playingfield in null.
Also for the 'noob ganker' part. CCP has shown that players who get ganked in their first 15 days are more likely to stick with EVE in the long run. But it is actually not very common that a genuine newbie gets ganked ~1%. It is far more profitable to gank older players who somehow think highsec is a safe place and they don't have to tank their ships or pay any attention to the game.
Look at the trader NPC guy in this thread. I bet he is one of those, was thinking he can AFK his PLEX around in a shuttle or something. Since they can't really do something ingame they will usually come to the forums and rage at us then pretend they saw ganker tears. It's how carebears work, I could probably write a scientific study about it already, they are so predictable.

TL;DR Version:
CODE does not hold any sov so they sit at the kids table and think they're important. Again they're a novelty alliance and are in fact a joke. And no I won't stop mentioning your lack of sov or your fears of moving into null. Once your in null your killboard will start to mean something. Until then your alliance is just forum/ingame comedy material. |
