OMG I hate you for that link, ugly pic of me :S
Btw, I have yelled at the journalists for calling the theme World of Warcraft-anything, but it's too late to change it now.
Show about EVE includes footage from Fanfest :D

Quick Translation:
"EVE is like driving off-road, you can go wherever you want," says an EVE-player and compares it to World of Warcraft: "WoW is like a rollercoaster, you have to follow the track."
EVE Online takes place in an extensive space-world where spaceships fight ferocious battles. If you want to travel from one end of the computer universe to the other it can take several days. It's the players that make the game. All players meet on the same server; this means that players from all over the world can meet each other. At the same time EVE has a very well-developed economy, similar to the market economy of the real world. The players create corporation empires, banks, and you can buy stocks for example in the game.
It's the small Icelandic company CCP that have developed the game. Every year they host a fanfest in Reykjavik, Iceland, and that draws players from all over the world - as far away as New Zealand and Australia.
Danish Gitte K, 23 years old from Copenhagen, is the CEO of the corporation LFC. Corporations that fight and oust each other are an important part of EVE's universe. LFC has 80 members from several countries.

iirc DR2 doesn't have a web-stream; I could be wrong though. However, I know some of the Danish players intend to record it; hopefully someone will remember it. I am also trying to coax a few people into recording it as well.

Sorry, had to go to bed, but left the computer compressing something last night while I was sleeping, so might have it when I get home from work. :D

Godar, let's not turn this into a discussion of languages - but let me just mention that the joke here is that Norwegians always sound like they're high on something that makes them very silly and happy - making it almost impossible to take them seriously :D That, and your alcohol prices are silly...
