running L4 missions for Security but my Storyline contact is distribution.... and the missions suck horribly. Very low pay, no little bonus items like implants etc., and all it is is hauling something.
Is there a way to get a different agent without having to pack up and move to a diff faction/agent? My other corp-mates get security storyline agents and good rewards from their L4 security missions from the same agent in system... Don't get where I got stuck with hauling storylines. |

Materials for war preparation has got to be the most common storyline that people get. Keep trying maybe you'll get one eventually you like! I know i decline a lot of storylines because i'm looking for just 2 very rare ones ;) |

Erm. Why would you decline them? Unless they're the truly awful hauling missions they don't take all that long, do they?
(Honest question. It's been awhile since I've missioned at all.) |

Because the mission gives an 1.41% faction standing. I decline it... |

There is another way to force yourself to a different storyline agent. You can only have 1 storyline mission offer at a time from any storyline agent. So if you get an offer from the distribution agent, leave it untouched for several days (I don't think they expire for 7 days before you take a negative hit), do the next 16 missions, your next storyline will have to come from a different agent (though travel distance will likely be farther away). Depending on how much you are missioning, you can leave the dsitribution agent's offer untouched for 6 days; that will let you use other storyline agents for that long at least. |

+1
After some time of running only Burner missions and the odd blitzable Lvl 4, I have about five storyline agents in the right-hand pane. True, most of the ones they're currently offering are pants, but you're bound to get the odd good one.

True, but you still get random mission from storyline pool. Agent type does nothing for storyline agent. It changed long time ago |

I was going to ask that. Was wondering if I can keep going on the L4 missions and pull another story hit while one is still "offered". Thought you can only have one? |

So you're doing regular Security missions and keep getting Distribution Storyline offers ?
This might help :
Keep track of the amount of regular Security missions completed and after you do the 15th mission go to a Distribution Agent and do the 16th mission. That might trigger a Security Storyline mission offer.
If you want the Storyline Agent to belong with the same corp as the regular Security Agents, just make sure the Distribution Agent is located near a Storyline Agent belonging to the same corp.
Hopefully it works. Good luck to you.
