Ahoy fellow spaceship pilots. When I started to play Eve eight years ago i was looking forward to the future of Eve Online. I could imagine how cool it would be in a near future. Today, i wish Eve was rolled back to 2004, nothing is better 2011 (graphic is better, i admit).
Here, enjoy a bitter veterans list of anger.
- CCP introduces new ships in Eve Online without fixing the old ones first, why? More ships is not always the solutions to your problem. If you wan't to make more ships, make more ship-roles first....
- The forum (and the game) is getting populated by many new players that don't get the concept of Eve. Players that think you should earn ISK on losing ships and players that want to make Eve to just another MMORPG. The worst is, CCP seems to listen to them.
- Many pilots from the past that has been giving CCP much constructive critic and has been the voice of the scums of Eve has been banned from the forums, maybe it's time to unban some of these players from the forums and give some room for even more bitter veterans.
- PLEX is ruining the whole game (imo it's just really stupid to release PLEX in a game that is supposed to be sandbox)
- The scums of Eve (pirates, scammers etc) has been nerfed year after year without getting anything back. It's time to throw a bone to the scums. Black market? Implant scanning? A working bounty system? Eve is suppose to be cruel. And it's NOT cruel enough
- Eve is about risk vs reward. Level IV missions in Empire is not risk vs reward (it's done AFK, CCP). Also, it would get lowsec more populated if all the level 4 agents where moved to low security space. Get. It. Done. (trading in Empire is a completely different story, since there is a hell of a lot of risk in some trades.) The more money, the more risk. Simple.. Alternative: Fix so that you can't make missions while AFK (or is that intended?).
- CCP is too nice to the players and just gives them everything they want nowadays, and that's the wrong move. Sometimes it feels like CCP has lost the concept of Eve themselves. Greed is always destroying concept and ideas.
- Ban the bots, ban the bots, Please CCP, atlest ban one bot? For me? They are ruining the economy.
- Cheating is more common then you might think in Eve (modifications of the game client). Fix that.
- ISK SINKS?!?
A call to arms to all the bitter veterans. It's time to take the forum and the game back.
Here - let me answer the first posts in advance:
Q: U mad bro? A: Yes i'm mad, mad as hell. Give me my game back.
Q: Can I have your stuff? A: What stuff? I share my girlfriend if you are interested? Best. Stuff. Ever.
Q: Adapt or die A: I have adapted for eight years in Eve. I will probably continue to do so. This has nothing to do with that, this is about the core concept of Eve Online. CCP needs to make a statement on this. Have they changed the concept of Eve? I for one would like to know.
Please give me comments on my bad grammar. I'm outta here. |

I understand your pain but moving back to the "glory days" will also means the number of subscription droped to the level or even lower of those "glory days" In the end scammers and scum as you call them would leave too since no more targets for them. |

I understand that you like PLEX. I have used them myself and understand that they are easy to like. But there is no room for an item like PLEX in a sandbox game. You should not be able to buy yourself ingame currency for real money. You should work for your ISK or you won't value them.

You make it sound like getting more players and making a popular game is a bad thing for the company.

Obviously, you haven't, otherwise you wouldn't be crying on the forums.
Are bitter vet tears worth more or less on the market than pirate tears, although the forum does seem to be flooded with both at the moment (pun intended)? |

People did RTM before PLEX, that's true. But it was bannable and few people did it. And let me repeat myself, it's about the concept. The concept of a sandbox game. CCP should make it clear that RTM is against the EULA. The devaluation of ISK is just sad. |

His blood pressure is already dangerously high from the ******* and methamphetamine abuse - his heart can't stand this kind of stress. Alright. Few things to think about: 1. There are people that can't even break the tank on rats, like lasers vs angels. Making missions harder means lots of newbs will be stuck on L3 agents forever. Which will cause a total boredom and lots of quitting. 2. 70% of eve players are carebears or casual people that do missions exactly because they have 1-2 hrs a day which leaves missions as the only choice to spend their time.
So you just said 70% of eve players should be left with nothing. Bring back Blaze and Lux crystals! http://eve.battleclinic.com/item/i12812-Blaze-L-details.html http://eve.battleclinic.com/item/i12832-Lux-L-details.html |

That's your reason to call me a non-brainer? You are so cute. I would like to have you in a cage above my bed. I would feed you, pet you and even play with you.
1. They are doing it wrong. (Oh, btw.. There is more ways of making money in Empire then level 4 missions) 2. Should be left with nothing? They could just enter low security space and continue with there business as usual! The only difference would be to watch local more carefully. By the way.. Did you know that some people actually are friendly in low security space? Some people even wan't to make alliances.. I know this might sound weird to you, but it's true. |

As a Space Doctor with seventy years of experience in the field of Psychospatial paralinguistics, I must express my concerns as to your mental state. It is quite apparent to me that you are suffering from some form of severe psychological illness, one which has caused you to experience this strange delusion wherein you imagine that seventy percent of EvE players run missions on a regular basis. Or that seventy percent of the playerbase only has a few hours a day to play.
I strongly urge you to seek immediate medical assistance, as left unchecked this condition could rapidly degenerate into psychosis.
