I just came back after along break of 4+ years and unannounced to me my father was using my account and dropped my standing with Gallente and minmitar down to -6.0.
I tried my best to raise my standing my training the correct social skills but that is not capped. Now I am stuck since I cant seem to finish missions for any Gelente contacts since the Gelente navy keeps attacking me wile in the missions.
I'm hoping some one could give me some tips on how to raise my standing back to where I had it before. |

Since the plan link is dead archive here is shorter version: Find nearst gallente L1 destribution mission agent you can use. Do missions to quickly get the standings to be at least -4,9 or bigger. Go to all 3 tutorial schools in gallente , then in minmatar space. Than do some cosmos mission. After you got mad with all this, hire someone, who has good standings with some gallente security agent, to share L4 missions with you.
Absolutely free trial extension. Just click the link and get your extra week of Eve for free!

Don't know why you say 'The Plan' link is dead, it works when I click on it. As for it being archived, that's only because CCP recently discontinued hosting the Evelopedia. All of the info is still correct and up to date, nothing has changed regarding 'The Plan'.
As for your advice, it's somewhat correct.
First train up Diplomacy skill to level 5 which should raise Gallente and or Minmatar standing close to or above -5.00 standing. Also good idea to train up Social to level 5 in order to gain max amount of standing increase for completing missions.
If the standing isn't above -5.00 after training Diplomacy 5 then complete regular Distribution missions to gain Storyline offer. As soon as the standing is above -5.00 you can then enter that Factions space and start working the Event Agents listed in 'The Plan'.
First run Career Agents, followed by the Circle Agents then the level 1 Data Center 'Cert' Agents. Do that with both Factions. After completing them the standings will be close to or actually be positive. After that just watch the standings of the 4 main Factions and continue working the Data Center / Cosmos Agents until all 4 Faction standings are close to being equal.
When standings are equal, work the Event Agents for all Factions by bouncing back and forth between them in order to raise the 4 main Factions equally.
Also be sure to include the Level 4 Epic Arcs when standing allows access to them. The Level 1 Epic Arc can be used to help keep the standings equal.

I'm having a similar problem, basically since the link points to the external domain archive.org (and I believe I've seen once or twice other people complaining about difficulties with the link). It might be a browser or browser setting or version problem, maybe in combination with CCP's script that opens the external host warning popup window. Possibly that's why some people are having the problem and others don't. When I (left) click on the link the external domain warning box opens but it doesn't show any URL at all. Clicking on OK then I get an empty browser page with title "unnamed" and no URL in the address bar, both in Chrome and IE.
I've figured out some time ago that it works for me when I right click on the link and choose "Open in new browser tab" (I've tested that only in Chrome, but something similar might be available in other browsers as well.) I don't get the external domain warning as a popup window in that case but instead I'm directed to a whole web page with the warning. And that page shows the correct external link which I can left click and I get directed to the archive page with the Plan.
Perhaps you could add a little hint with this workaround under the Plan link for people who experience this problem.

Good point. Definitely would help to add a little instructional note under 'The Plan' link.
I always right click any link and select 'Open link in new tab' in order to keep the original page available for viewing reference.
Anyway, in the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan' thread I've now added this under 'The Plan' link : (Note: To Access Links, Right Click And Select 'Open Link In New Tab')
Thanks again for bringing that issue to my attention.

Hi DMC,
Firstly, thanks for all your work over the years with the faction standing plans.
Can you possibly provide a direct link to the 'Circle Agents' page on the archived evelopedia ? Probably just me, but can't seem to find it.
I usually just skill up some social skills then run the Circle Agents to get new-ish characters to lvl 2 missions for the four main factions. It's been a couple of years since I've done this so not even sure if it'll still work.
Thanks in advance if you can provide that link, if not I'll just work out another way of doing it.
Cheers.

Hi Arnamia,
Thank you very much for the compliment.
In the 'Faction Standing Repair Plan' thread (sticky at top of this sub-forum), the link to 'The Plan' should work. After loading the archived Evelopedia page, all of the links in 'The Plan' should also work.
If there's any issue at all, please feel free to post a message in 'The Plan' thread.
