Good afternoon all,
First time posting, I've been killing NPC's in high sec and I got a "Expedition" quest. I've read on wikki that it requires a decent cruiser to complete
Unfortunately I don't have the skills to complete the quest, although i have read it may drop a rare item on luck.
I was hoping, since I cant complete it. That someone is willing to purchase the spot off me? |

Should post in the right forum section. I don't think you can sell such tings here.

Hello and welcome to the Eve Online Forums. There's a few issues with selling escalations that will cause most players to ignore it.
Location of site / route may be camped.
24 hr countdown timer can't be reset.
Bookmark can't be transferred to another character.
ISK value can't be set due to loot drop being random.
Anyway, I suggest having a couple of friends / corp mates run the site with you. Definitely set up safe spots in the system and watch Directional-scan for Combat probes while running the site. While escalation sites can't be scanned, your ship and drones can be found with probes. Also if it's gonna take a while to complete the site, I suggest doing the 'Scorched Earth' policy (destroy wrecks and cans asap since those can be viewed on D-scan which a good experienced player could actually use it to find the site).
Or you can just delete the escalation from your journal.

In all fairness you can sell bookmarks to players and a 10/10 usually sells for 150-200mil down in sov null

Yeah, the OP got a 5/10 Escalation site, not a 5/10 Exploration site. There's a big difference between Exploration sites and Escalation sites.
Exploration site bookmarks can be transferred to other players, Escalation site bookmarks can't be transferred.
Exploration sites are active for 3 to 5 days, Escalation sites are active for only 24 hrs.

escalations bookmarks can, we use to sell them in null, sanctums and havens would escalate to 10/10 with a 24hr timer and we would sell them, you travel to the system make the bookmark then put it on contracts in the system the escalation was

This is where being in a decent, active player corp can really pay dividends. Things like this usually trade hands between corp and alliance members, not via sales threads on the EVE-O forums. Our honourable OP may have the best of intentions, however this is EVE and we're a paranoid pack of nerdy neckbeards, by and large.
Following an Escalation into Lowsec space is something of a high risk activity at the best of times, even if your corp or alliance has a strong presence in said region.

Confirming I have sold many, many escalations while living in Vale and Tribute. Mostly 8/10 and 10/10 sites which certainly improved my ISK/hr running in VNIs. Then I discovered 6/10s and Gilas....... Caveat: it was always through alliance channels.

Yeah, right.
You get an escalation notice and then immediately travel to the site, bookmark the location, dock and create a contract with the bookmark to sell to Alliance / Corp member who quickly buys it. All of that done with ample time left on the 24 hr timer for them to complete the site.
That situation may work for players living in Sov Nullsec but for everyone else who doesn't live in Alliance Nullsec that situation won't work, especially with an escalation site in Lowsec space.
I highly doubt the OP is gonna travel to the Escalation site in Lowsec and create a bookmark. Add in the time to do that as well as the time it'll take to sell it, the site timer itself will be close to expiring.
Anyway, guess I should have clarified my original reply and said that making a bookmark of the escalation journal listing won't work.

It also works just fine outside of Sov/Alliance 0.0 space, so long as you have corp or alliance mates you can offer your escalations to.
But yes, a key part of this is to get that bookmark ASAP (and yes, one needs to fly to the Escalation system, warp to the location in the Journal in order to make said bookmark).
Like I said, this is one of the many, many benefits of being part of an active player corp.
