The new version seems buggy for me:
1. Every time I close and restart the application, it changes the thumbmail size. Example: I set it to 320x210 which is the size I want. Then I close and restart the client and it changes the setting to 304x171. I close it and when I start it again, it sets itself to 288x132.
2. I can't enter numbers into the size fields. I have to use up and down arrows to increase and decrease by 10.

1. That's interesting. Could you drop me a mail with your config file? It is the EVE-O Preview.json file next to the .exe. It is just a plain text file and should pass vie eve mail. Before sending it please edit out your alt's names from the config file That would greatly help me to pin it down and fix. 2. Will look at it (probably tomorrow). I would say that you can edit the config file directly to set the size you want, but given (1) it won't help anyway.
Sent it. Thanks for looking into it. |

- Borderless thumbnails had incorrect size settings
- It was not possible to set Max and Min thumbnail sizes via config file
- It was not possible to enter thumbnail width or height in the corresponding edit boxes
Fixed my issues from yesterday, thanks. |

Latest version still occasionally shrinks the preview size without reason. I have sent you the config (on another character). |

Thanks Could you somehow pay attention on what exactly you do when this happens? Start the laucnher and eve-o-preview; start clients; size is shrunk from 320x180 to 314x151.

Idk if that is in the scope of this software, but I would really like to be able to do the following:
I run eve clients in fixed window. That means when I switch between them, they are all up on the screen, just one at the top. That seems to cause them all to be redered fully, using up GPU ressources. I would be fantastic if switching to one would minimize the others, so they are not fully rendered. I can simulate that by minimizing all clients and then manually maximizing one again. I can then see 1 client, all others in eve-o-preview windows, with only the one on top beeing fully rendered. This uses up way less ressources. Once I switch to another client with eve-o-prewiew though, the one I had maximised before stays maximised in the background.
So I would like to have a feature that: a) switches eve clients like now b) at the same time minimizes the other clients, so only the one client and the previews of the other clients need to be rendered.
Should be possible, no? |

Should be possible, no? Yes, with some ajustment - not all other client. It would be enough to send th Minimize command only to the window you're leaving. And for sure this will be an option, disabled by default. Btw thanks for logging this on github Thanks for considering it. |

William Hazard wrote:Hello,
I'm using it occasionnaly but I have a weird issue with your tool.
It works pretty well all the time BUT with one of mine account.
When Eve-o preview is launched before Eve, the game starts and works as expected until the character seletion screen. With 2 toons it'll continue working properly but with the third one the game will change its definition to something very small (like 150*80 pxl) and relocate the window out of my screen.
The issue always happens with the same account and only with this character, not the other two. Thats really weird.
If i stop eve-o preview, launch eve, select this toon, then launch eve-o preview again, it'll be ok and work. I have this too. You can fix it by setting max and min window sizes to the size you want the preview; e.g.:
"ThumbnailSize": "320, 180", "ThumbnailMaximumSize": "320, 180", "ThumbnailMinimumSize": "320, 180", |
