Tip of the Day;
Did you know that if you undock in a cargo-expanded T1 industrial, or go on autopilot in your pod, you can and probably will be killed and that is a perfectly natural and ordinary thing, and you cannot complain about it or whine that the game needs to be changed. It's your own fault; stay alert!

When starting a corp or alliance, bills are not paying automatically. The setting to pay them automatically can be found in your corp / alliance wallet.

If you have your turrets or launches grouped and burn them out, ungroup them.
They won't all be burnt out and you can then keep firing with the still active ones.

If someone links you a ship in a chat, and you wonder what kind of class the ship is;
1) Open show info on the ship link 2) Click the thumbnail of the showinfo, it will show the ship-type on the bigger picture that then opens.

Tip of the day;
if you know where someone is likely to be in a system. You can prearrange your probes at that location. Bring them back in and the next time you launch them and scan they'll immediately return to the last location and you'll get a 100% hit on the first scan

There's more to it than that.
If you launch probes by clicking the probe launcher icon the probe anchors in the scanning window will return to the last scanned position, which is what you describe.
If you launch probes by clicking the "use pinpoint formation", or spread for that matter, in the scanning window the probe anchors start in the centre of the system
Both have their uses, the first one in very specific pvp scenarios and the second one is generally best to start out with 95% of the time. |

Citadel tips: Point defenses do not hurt tethered pod pilots / ships If you can use the Citadel, you get a full overview of what's outside If you can NOT use the Citadel, you get a cool screen saver :-/ Citadels do NOT auto attack. If you have no one manning the Citadel, it's going to sit there and do nothing You can not tether with weapons agro Best place to do a Cyno on a citadel is central and 'over it' You can and WILL get bumped off of a Citadels tether. This is by design. Just dock up and don't waste supports time when you come back to your computer PODDED Citadels are a bit naff until you get to Keepstars. Takes about 15~20 people to destroy an Astrahaus in Battleships. You can bring more, but you'll reach the damage cap. Just use DRONES as they don't consume ammo (magical powahs!)
There are good ships,
And wood ships,
And ships that sail the sea
But the best ships are Spaceships

- Knock, Knock, ANY BODY HOME? - There's a counter of people docked in the citadel (doesn't always show. Not sure what the deal is here. Might be a setting in the Citadel controls). It's the value in the [ ] squared brackets when you click on the citadel.
* I think you have to have docked here one time for the counter to show. After checking a citadel with no [9] counter by docking at it, it [Counter] now shows. This appears to be the mystery solved.
