Can the cargo scan show estimated value like the inventory does? Would make cherry picking at data/relic sites much more enjoyable. |

You are lazy and should be ashamed.
Part of being good at eve is leaning a few things and remembering them. If your career choice is exploring and running data/relic sites, put in some effort to learn the rough values of things.
There is also a 3rd party site called 'Eve appraiser' or something like that. You can basically CTRL-A anything in eve, dump it in the window provided, mash the 'give me the value of this crap' button and you get the value of the crap. Based on your request, I'm guessing this also is way too much work for you.

They should just prevent scanning cans in sites. If you want to know what is in there, open it. |

Wow really negative responses with some name-calling. I'm an 07 player and I can say I know the estimated prices of almost everything at a glance. I can also say the forums have gone to utter **** in terms of manners. It doesn't make any sense that there is no estimated value is what I should have said in the OP. If our inventory can estimate it, then so should our scan. |

Etc etc. It doesn't make sense. You know nothing about me don't flame. Makes perfect sense. We know you don't think you should have to learn what the value of the loots you're going for are, so you want CCP to code in a hand holding measure.
Gankers use the same module to determine whether a freighter is a profitable gank. They've managed to learn what has value. Are you saying they're better at the game than you are?
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.

Your quoting thinger seems to be broken. Somehow it dropped where I explained to you how to be good at eve (exploring in specific) AND ALSO put you on track to acquire a powerful tool to aid in what you are trying to accomplish.
Either your forum quotey thinger is broken OR you cherry picked (I'm sensing a trend) only what you felt was advantageous to you.
PRO TIP: If the whole post you're editing for effect is really short and only 8in up the same page..... your editing does more to make you look ineffective than it does to aid in your plight.
(I can only help you so much before I lose interest)
The only time critical aspect of your profession would be the ghost sites. If it's your chosen profession to run these sites - I strongly recommend you write down the small number of really valuable implant bpc you can get as a handy reference. (you can probably copy-paste from a website and either tab to it or print it if you don't have paper and/or a pencil/pen) |

-1 The gankers in this game to not need yet another tool to make their job of selecting targets easier.
-1 The gankers have figured out how to use the available tools to do what you want, perhaps you should engage them in a conversation to find out how they do it.
-1 Because this is just another request based on being lazy. I can do this now but it takes so much time. |

I prefer players use their knowledge of the game for this kind of stuff. It's more interesting and creates a divide between good players and bad players.

+1 to not being able to use cargo scanners to cherry pick sites. Sites already pay well for little effort and often little risk and effort. |

This should have happened years ago.
CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.
