Just rejoined eve after a long break and need some advice as I'm sure it's changed quite a bit.
Once I get used to the game's many changes I will be looking for a corp. Given I get probably about 10-15 hours a week to play (job/wife/kids), in session of around 60-90 mins max, what would be the best type of corp to join given I like a mix of pve and pvp. I guess most 0.0 blocks wouldn't really want me as the chance of me being able to complete a major CTA is low, as they seem take a long time.
Thanks for your thoughts guys.

A casual lowsec pvp corp would be a good fit. Some people who do roams and wander into null for ratting without having all the rules and... "uptightness" that would otherwise get in the way of your schedule. |

The Alliance & Corporation Recruitment Center forum area is a good place to start.
Gÿ+
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the ho's and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!' and I'll look down, and whisper: 'Hodor'.

The New Order of Highsec. :D
Highsec is worth fighting for.
Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

You may or may not be aware of Red vs Blue?
We kill a lot.
In fact, our 'active PvP' bros see more action than most
The following stats are drawn directly from Zkill so, feel free to check them out for validation.

(I wanna post on this before it's moved.) Lord knows if someone found a forum section havin' to do with:
ANYTHING THE DOC PRESCRIBES!!
it might be quite USEFUL. Then, I'm just a kuntree boy. What do I know?
PS Those Zkill stats Talon posted sure are interesting. Those blue lines aren't quite as BIG for some of these vaunted organizations as they would have one BELEEEVE, are they? Huh?
If we get chased by zombies, I'm tripping you.

I think the best corp to join with limited time would be one with a large member count. The social aspect would be the most important part of the corporation.
Reasons: 1 - Many members means there will be many people to interact with regardless of the time you log on. Smaller corps may only be active at certain times.
2 - Many members means the corp leadership doesnt necessarily need to rely on you to get things done. You and your friends can do what you guys want to do.
In terms of where they opperate - I think Highsec, Lowsec and Nullsec are all okay. Whatever suits your play-style best. WH space should be avoided. ISK is good - but I have yet come across a truly laid-back WH corp. Things need to be done when you're in a hole.

Interstellar Nuclear Penguins [ISNP] are a small corp of GMT TZ mature players with a zero tolerance for drama and a love of explosions. We have been around for a few years and have moved from high sec indy -> null sec bloc -> lowsec piracy and even spent some time in wormholes. We are few but looking to grow. Our current pilots are grown-ups with RL commitments but this doesnGÇÖt stop us from playing, even when we canGÇÖt log in. We are heavily active on our out of game comms and follow the meta and dev posts religiously. We have no pre-requisites for activity, A large portion of the playerbase have grown-up with this game and RL always comes first. We simply ask that our members are willing to communicate out of game and help make Penguins better. Our primary focus will be on bomber fleets and small - medium PvP fleets.
What we are looking for:
Pilots who wish to join new friends and make something they can be proud of. Any skill level, any age ( We have extensive knowledge and can help you learn the ropes and beyond) An open mind (Discrimination and bullying are not tolerated but swearing can and often be used) Patience. We are growing again from the ground up and need pilots that can help us do this but also understand we are not starting with 50+ members. Full API key (old habits die hard sorry)
What we can offer:
Extensive experience from seasoned pilots in all aspects of gameplay. Expenses for corp content creators Low level Ship's, Fittings, Skills and other goodies for new pilots looking to learn. Content. Our number one concern is that our members have content in one form or another. Open discussion. DonGÇÖt like how weGÇÖre doing things? Come tell us! Our directors love hearing problems as it means we can fix them before they become catastrophic
If you wish to know more please contact Kurbanis Araeleus, Odd Mothball, Landis Delco, Lancky Kal El-Quin. |

I don't think the OP wants to get banned by CCP by being in the wrong chat channel at the wrong time.
