At approximately 0600 YC118.07.09 3 explosive devices were detonated at the Landfall Shuttleport on New Caldari Prime.
The explosion, which reports say caused 38 Casualties and has injured nearly 200 in total. Injuries include 2 Members of The Chief Executive Panel who were scheduled to officiate a memorial event at Landfall Temple this afternoon. Officals believe this to have been the primary motive for the bombing.
Surveilance footage depicts the blast originating from the Landfall Monument directly in front of the shuttleport. With the majority of the damage being dealt in the Arrivals Terminal. Landfall Temple District is widely known as being a place of pilgrimage and State Heritage as the site of the first Evacuation Landing site from Caldari Prime.
The incident has been claimed by the Guristas Pirates. Citizens of The State are being asked to inform CONCORD and State Militia Forces with any information leading to the capture of any involved in the terroist act.

That seems a little bit bold for Guristas so I will say to also look for other people who may be responsible what are the names of the two members of the CEP? |

I am unsure who to report this to... but I have discovered a small secure container floating in low New Caldari Prime Orbit. Upon scanning it to ascertain it's contents... it appears to hold a Shrapnel Explosive Device similar in description to the three utilized in the above story.
Upon inspection of it's ownership data, it appears to have been anchored by one Roland Cassidy. |

First of all, CEP has nothing to do with gurista and their business. They aren't even real Caldari 'government', still it might be closest to one. Real Caldari authority stands in boards of directors of each corresponding Mega. And those, who meddles with Gurista 'business' are neither them, nor CEP, but Caldari Navy and mega's private police forces like Home Guard, Spacelane Patrol, CPF, POU and others.
On the other hands, gallenteans with their "mah freedoms, mah democracy, mah government" obsessions might think that CEP is something important for Caldari and might target it. While in fact even if whole CEP will suddenly vanish, nobody in the State will be affected by it and might even not notice it. When a CEP's decision will be required, a new one will be assembled in just a couple of hours.

To a certain extent Ms Kim is actually correct. The CEP makes executive decisions and the odd legislative action that requires State wide approval as well as overseeing the armed forces. The Megas run their own fleets, their own police forces, their own taxes, their own corporate regulations, their own citizen marriage licences... You get the point.
On a day to day level the Megas have the greatest influence on their citizens lives then the CEP, but that is not to say it does not have its purpose.

There's no physical evidence that points to that, or to anyone in particular, yet. Too early to say who did it, without jumping to conclusions.

You do realise I was born in the State? No, you know I was born in the State because I was still an Ishukone citizen at the time you hosted myself for tea not a year or so ago. I made a statement of support on your position (that the Megas have the greatest control on people's lives) and I disagree with the notion the State can completely do away with the CEP (it's required for the executive level for State wide actions)
I made this statement from a position of personal experience and knowledge having, you know, been brought up in the State. In this case you have ignored my original statement of support to, in a sarcastic manner attack me. This is why I rarely speak on subjects in your defence as you have demonstrated you are willing to bite the hands that would help you for the sake of... What exactly?
You have also already in the past made comments about the Amarr Empire and our faith, including numerous times pointing out that Slavery is legal in the Empire and choosing to make the comment it is for us to decide on its continued practice. You are welcome to make those comments of course, in the free market of ideas anyone can have an opinion. But in return I am free to have an opinion on the State I was formerly a citizen of.
I would personally not bother replying to this Diana as I, quite obviously, don't bother much with these forums. Just take note that I'm inclined less and less and less to support your positions on certain areas, even when I agree with them, because you are demonstratably a spoiled brat with no concept of civil discourse and being able to take criticism.
Side note, when you invite someone for tea it's usually considered respectful to clean the place up.

So, Utari, The CEP is made up of representatives of the largest megacorps, and provides overarching support and legislation to the state. correct?
Sounds like a form of government to me, even if it is a little less direct than the Federation. That said, the senate is simple a macro scale version of the CEP if you think about it.
The megas having more 'ground level' control over their own domains is little different to planetary government within the federation, or even the great houses within the empire, after a fashion.
I often think that, regardless of what some would have us believe, there is far more that the people of the cluster have in common, than there are differences that separate us.

I think Miss Kim is more rattled of the fact you implied she was only, and I quote, "to a certain extent [...] actually correct". As opposed to being full out correct since she is THE Caldari loyalist and is probably the most qualified capsuleer to describe how the State works.

Also, this entire news segment was pulled out from a top hat. No way a Guristas worth its salt would do such acts of terrorism without being able to squeeze some profit out of it. Either someone is making this crap up, or pushing out some heavy anti-Guristas propaganda. Maybe both! |

What have I done in reply? I haven't done the same to you, I have only offered to act the way you did and invited for discussion, and I hoped you could feel it what you did without me actually acting your way.
But noo~ instead you went down in tirades how I can't "take criticism" (while you displaying your inability to take even slight hints of your misbehaviour by my offer to treat you like you treated me), insulting me calling "brat" and even pulling out some things about how I maintain my place.
And now I will have to shove it clearly into your face, Mr. Onzo, because what you did is a shame, shame to you, and to both of worlds you represent, both Amarr and Caldari.
With the way you "discuss things" and put "criticism", I am not interested anymore in further discussion and please consider my offer on which you replied so.... vivid... withdrawn.
