Last update was on the 17th of April actually, however i cant update the original post so the date there is incorrect.
Current updating is delayed a bit because I'm drowning in a project deadline.
You mean march ofc ;)
Anyway, as said above. CA has lost control of GW (and have largely vacated the area). Multifaction warzone would be a suitable marker, or no marker.

Any reason why CA is still labelled as in control of GW? They themselves say they've 'moved'.

Got a link?
Yeah, there's one only just posted. That thread also has other people making excuses for why they're not in GW.
Incase the post is edited I'll quote it here

you think they moved to this better place cos of you? lol
Well, we kinda did. Why should we be constantly fighting competent gankers (with the occasional competent 20man fleet) over a piece of turd?
GW is quite frankly nothing but a piece of turd in turns of 0.0 economy. The new place is a lot nicer. We should have moved earlier IMHO. But I won't spill the beans about internal CA politics here. Ask your friendly forum spy for that.
As you can see, "we didn't want that space anyway" is the next stage of denial

Well , my opinion , i might be wrong tho
You seem to have missed the difference between political and sovereignty, political maps (like joshua's) show who is the controlling force in the area and also it shows warzones hence is useful, politically. Sovereignty maps (like the auto generated one) simply show number of pos, also useful but in a different way.
Also Warzones =/= sovereignty(pos) battles. Sovereignty battle = contesting. Warzones is where there's a high amount of combat going on, it's rather self explanatory (why would warzone be the same as contesting, it would make having two seperate markers pointless).
As for warzones/controlling: GW is under control by COW/RIOT (and FDN down N-DQ/V-IH leg), so you may mark us as in control, Joshua. If you prefer multifaction warzone, so be it. Doesn't bother us either way. Curse is already a multifaction warzone so is labelled correctly. As for scalding pass, we could/should be placed with interdiction against the southern coalition.

In case you missed one of the 5 threads, COW has left Great Wildlands along with INFOD and RIOT, we're now fighting in Geminate. Great Wildlands should perhaps be a pirate infestation, left unmarked or await someone to step forward and exert some sort of power in the region.
Smash/Kill POS have been destroyed(BWF & 8MG), and stations have changed hands(8MG). However no serious sovereignty challenges have really been made. The region certainly should have a warzone marker at the least, perhaps IPS deserves contesting, but it doesn't really matter.
Significant Entities are COW & RIOT & INFOD vs Smash & Roadkill (& HellHounds?).

Originally by: Crax McGee I may be blind and have just missed it, and I may be blind again and may have missed someone else pointing it out but I think you may have missed placing the number 8 warzone on the actual map.
Also 8 should include Anarchy Empire (RIOT) and Infinitus Odium (INFOD) ... when it makes it on

You havn't got Hydra or COW marked either and they both hold their own territory.
Yep, please add us. (and cheers Phrixus for bringing it up a second time )
 A-WAR might be Recruiting!
