Eve needs more competitive objectives to increase the amount of fights for solo players or small gangs.
Already implemented competitive objectives: 1.Moon pos (mining, savepos, bridge) 2.Station/sov (savedock, trade)
Both of these objectives are only competeable with a large group of people.(mid-scale (8-20) or large-scale (20+) either u need to entose several beacons or cut down pos buildings. There would be much more small-scale activity if there are objective for.
Following things are no competitive objectives (its risk/reward ratio is to low or are not accessible) - Lowsec beacons Low reward, to many spawns (why compete if thereGÇÖs an empty exept for the lulz) - Ded Complexes Not accessible for most pvp ships, you can spot enemy probes easily - 0.0 incursions High risk, hard to make them in pvp ships
These are some changes which would make them to competable objectives for smaller groups or even solo players. - Lowsec-beacons Reduce the amount and increase the reward. Also add them into 0.0 space (solo (1) GÇô small-scale (2-7)) - Ded complex Make visited sites visible at the overview and the eve map. Increase the reward.(solo (1) GÇô small-scale (2-7)) - 0.0 Incursion Increase rewards and weaken npc to make them tankable with a pvp ship (small-scale (2-7) to mid-scale (8-20) to large scale (20+))
These are small-scale versions of the large objectives like Stations and Moons where the whole alliance fight for. Make objectives more rewarding, more rare and accessible for everyone makes them to PvP content creators.
What do u guys think? Any hints or improvements to my suggested changes? How would you change eve to get more and/or better combat situations?
Ps: I like the recent Tactical overview change. The next thing should be a change of the Ship Symbols in space. Make them unique for every ship (even Rifter and Jaguar). Then I can remove my overview window because every important imformation for the battle is already on the field :).(Distance, Velocity, Alignment and Shiptype)

A simpler way is to make the majority of anom rats scram the players running them. It will then require a commitment to complete the site once you warp to it. No more semi afk and aligned to the station/citadel/pos and warp if someone enters local. A side benefit would be that occasionally a gang of npc may actually score a kill (crazy talk - I know). There should also be a reasonable number of npc that can scram (DISABLE) MJD.
With this simple change pve sites will go from super safe farming to potential pvp situations. There will be actual real risk to running anoms to get those iskies. Ratters will adapt and convert to hybrid pve/pvp fits or perish. Corp mates will learn to be on comms and how to rally a fleet to aid each other when doing pve sites or perish.
I don't mean 2 rats per an entire anom having scrams. I mean most of the rats have scrams. I mean a player has to commit to finishing the site when he first warps to it.
TL/DR Put an end to CCP sponsored npc welfare handouts. Put some commitment back into playing the game. |

Look at how wrong you are! It's adorable!
Incursion fits are already very close to PVP fits. Incursion gangs are already nasty, and when you consider that nullsec incursion sites let you take in a lot more people, an incursion gang will mulch most small gangs who come to **** with them.
While you can run in null faster than in high, you're not going to be able to run as often. The imperium incursion group would go months without a spawn we could use even when we controlled a third of the galaxy.
That said, the only buff incursions should get is the straight up removal of the highsec ones, tbh. |

A hybrid PVE/PVP ship is useless. What is a single point going to achieve? Without Webs or a Scram, the ratter cannot keep a real PVP ship in place. I also do not see how a hybrid PVE/PVP ship helps against scraming rats or any sort of rat ewar. Enlighten me or get some more coherence into your rant.
