As there are more and more processors with 2 or even more cores, it would be good to be a bit ahead of others again and provide support for hyperthreading ... make it so that people with older computers can still play. I know it takes a LOT of time and effort (you actually gotta rewrite quite a lot of the code), but it would surely be a nice thing to have, especially good in fleet battles. Yea i know its not gonna happen for a very long time (if ever) but i had to ask Goes well with the need for speed stuff.

Eve actually does support Dual Core processors. A relevent thread can be found Here on the topic. There are some issues with Eve running on both cores, and it has been reccomended to set your processor affinity to a single core for Eve.

I think there may be a difference between having a way to make Eve play nice on one core and actually suporting and utilising dual/multi cores/processors
I have an AMD 64 Dual core 3800+ that works fine with Eve without setting affinity while a friend has a 4200+ and sometimes has issues unless he sets client/core affinity. Setting affinity and running multiple instances of the client for people with more than one account can be nice though for most it seems like a waste of potential PC resource - made frustrating when I warp into a lvl 4, get full aggro and have my poor client slow to an amazing jerky cartoon-anime type experience while hoping that my mods all kick in as my PC strains one core and the other idly sits there wondering what the issues is
Load Balancing anyone ?

Well i meant something more like having a great benefit (like 50% faster performance) from playing on dual core - thats what i understand under a full dual core support ... Cause when i tested, my old computer without dual core doesnt perform any worse in really laggy situations than a new one (graphic card is similarly good in both processors too). Problematic situations for computers (fleet battles, jumping on dozens of rats) is where i expected dualcore to have a great advantage and was quite disappointed.
