Hey forums!
So, i thought this might be a good place to post a topic and see what kind of inspiration i could get.
Primarily, i had a lot of fun in todays pew4reps fleet XD I'm wondering how i could do something as fun in the corp i'm (just barely) CEOing. One of the first things i noticed was that a lot of people already knew eachother! So i think this would also be a good place to network.
So anyway, the corp is Apple of Discord and we have a handful of members looking to grow in numbers and skil, but like all new corps, doing anything significant is difficult. That we have difficulty even establishing ourselves certainly doesn't halp :p
And HS wardecs XD
Any suggestions? I think i've worn out "git gud, scrub". |

i dunno man.... i think that a ceo has more possibilities to succes if he knows quite well this game and the opportunities that it offers. If you have to ask suggestions about it... maybe you should experience it more in depth than you have done till now.
what your corp does? high sec? miner? etc?

I dunno. It used to be; "Let's get out into null sec, set up a POS and see what comes about." Then, the process of making ISK, mining/manufacturing/marketing....set up security for your home and transit routes. Train Train Train. Plan Plan Plan. Execute!!
Now, it's hard to say. I think it's; "Let's buy some PLEX, sell it, gate camp some transit point with the cheapest (no training) ships in the game, suicide gank any freighters that come by, and call that 'FUN'!" Yeah. Some people think staring at blinking signs is enjoying art. Go figure.
But...recently, it may have become; "Let's set up a citadel and constantly defend it!" Or, the constant war deccing (you mention) to red tag freighters so you can pick them off right at Jita, and not bother using the rest of the map. CCP seems to adore this sort of "content creation."
If there's people with a low opinion of you starting out...they have low expectations for you going in. - one of my many exes -

Let me clarify by saying that "asset relocation" means "being forced to move something expensive through wartarget HS chokepoint systems", not running away. Not that i didn't fully expect someone to detract from the point.
Secondly, AoD is aspiring to be lowsec/nullsec pvp, funded through pve, such as anomalies and incursions. That wasn't even a difficult purpose and has been our purpose since our inception. |

Yeah, i've definitely noticed the mechanics seeming to "force" my options in only a few directions. What i really need is a good alliance.

For what reason, i can only speculate. We have a decent enough attitude. Expect nothing from the harshness in space, except the harshness of space. I'm teaching my guys to be self sufficient, PLEX-wise and ISK-wise.

I can help with that - I deal in brokering placement advancement within New Eden, and I can help you for the low fee of 250m ISK. I only require 25% upfront, with the rest payable upon satisfaction of your new station in life.
Send ISK to Bumble today to stay ahead of your peers!

Don't waste your isk - Bumble's organization is quite good for those who are naturally gifted in the facial hair department - but will not aid those with a severe facial hair deficiency such as yourself.
My organization is 3x the cost, but caters to those unable to grow fabulous mustachios. I'm afraid we also require 50% payment up front, rather than only 25% - but you'll find it is money well spent. Give us a shot!

As for your original topic - might I suggest that a corp that wants to participate in low/null sec PvP should seek out and join an alliance that participates in such activities already and is open to recruiting a new corp?
Rather than joining a sad excuse for a high-sec alliance whose main hobby seems to be feeding easy/expensive kills to whichever high-sec wardec corp goes to war with them this week...

Meh. You're just another of these worthless money-grabbers. Teach them to be self sufficient PLEX-wise, yet want them to waste billions on pilot's licenses.
Yadda yadda, bullshit! THAT ALONE puts you on the same level as all the worthless scrubs out there.
WHAT is it you want? Protection? Safety? Space to farm in?
What's the point?
You talk about harshness, yet seek the warming arms of alliance! What for? So you can farm in peace in nullsec? So you don't have to be afraid of the oh so mean wardeccers?
You papertiger can't even deal with wardecs! You expect harshness, yet you got your pants all wet already.
What makes you think you're worthy of running a corp with new capsuleers ... ... when you can't even lead them into a fight?

This is one of those things i fully expected to encounter here.
"Teach them to be self sufficient PLEX-wise, yet want them to waste billions on pilot's licenses" -What does this even mean? Yes, i'm showing my corpmates how to buy PLEX in-game, rather than spending RL money on it. Not sure how that makes anyone a "money-grabber"
Yadda yadda, moving on.
WHAT is it that i want? Hmm, that's an intricate question. Protection? - I suppose that would be nice, be we don't really have anything to defend and we've done fine protecting ourselves.
Safety? - I think that falls in line with protection.
Space to farm in? - Yeah, that sounds cool. A quiet system with anomalies would be nice. But we're not begging for it. We'll find a place that we have the capacity to control and work from there.
"You talk about harshness, yet seek the warming arms of alliance" - I'm starting to think you're just filling the spaces with words XD
As i recall, every mention of wardeccers came not with any sign of being unable to handle it, but that it was a constant circumstance. No other information was given, leading me to fully understand what it is you're doing. Wasting time. Which is fine, i mean, you can talk to me all you want. I don't discourage it.
And that last bit was some more rage-bait you threw out. I'm probably falling for it simply by acknowledging it. Which is also fine. I'm not here for what you personally think. But the inspiration therein is amusing enough.

Yes. Money-grabber. You put money at the top, which will only push you faster to the bottom.
Don't teach your noobs to reach for PLEX. Teach them to reach for fun instead of wasting their ISK for this.
Any work in-game done for PLEX is for poor people.
