I don't normally do curses. Curses and myself get along like miasmic mist and antigens. Like mint leaves and throat infections. Like bad words and baby's teething. Yet I asked myself. As I waylaid the b'geezues out of an Amarrian colony of slavers. How do I bless these antiquated heathens? How does one think about these neanderthals spiritually? So I cursed them vehemently. This is because a blessing was too good for them. I must confess and lament. I do not like the notion that I have been involved in thinking negatively about mine own spirituality. I always imagined it was to be kept within. Held from battle like a new born babe. Protected from chaos as one protects one's own dream. But as I let loose a volley of 1400mm howitzer. Mine own Lord from the mind's eye said... "Wilt thou know a cabalic star system?" "Curse them." I said. Aloud. In my cockpit. I regretted it. One is not to converse with the Almighty so frivolously. One is not to assume the offensive prowess of a deity. Perhaps it is your day to die and you die in the throngs of a curse instead of blessings from on high. May it be the day your soul is free to fly and you must navigate a torrent of negative forces because you were not in the company of God's Love. But God's Wrath. So I will try never to do this again. I will look for a way to bless the enemy into better ways to lose against me. But the enemy will have to read between the lines. Because there is no simple blessing for Amarr. The only word they will know is that one I used once before. Curse. In the end I will work to see my influence a blessing on the lives I do not genocide with these technologies. Since the Universe void of Amarrians is a tragedy. Extinction is un-godly. I have not found this higher form of thinking: Blessing the enemy. That which is wiser and greater than me helps me to see through the depth and black and mass of space. One day I will have something better to say to the Amarrian race. Until then. Curses.

Ottom and Vollhov fill me with sadness, These fools show that madness begets madness, Are others fated to become insane? Oh God, even I now speak in quatrain!

In my defense, I was aiming to keep the 5-7-5 word metric for my haiku, but your fix sounds better! |

Um. Yours was originally 5-8-6.
It might be a translation issue. The haiku form suffers in languages requiring articles. |

5-7-5 is the syllabic count, not the word count.
The other form of haiku uses seven-eleven-seven instead. You might give that one a try. |

I'm no good at counting syllables! There are entire words that can fit in one syllable, how am I supose to figure out which ones monosyllabic?
A good languange should have distinct syllables I tell you! One consonant or two, followed by a vowel or two! Maybe an inflection or two thrown in the middle as a curve ball!
And I very much like my haikus just the way they are, in their very own nonsensical ways. |

Ottom, don't be silly. You are not in a cockpit, you are in a capsule either in the bridge of your ship or way in the depths of your ship.
Also, fly a Curse. Curses are very strong ships. I should take my own advice and also fly a Curse. Or at least start with an Arbitrator.
A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.
