Removing the gate model from the scene is a step along the path toward a less intrusive gate jump process. The forced camera takeover being the worst part of it, when repeated over and over and over again. I'm cool with fade-to-black, really. |

Prepare the tinfoil hats! Just a thought, but since Amarr is basically the RP side of EVE, could you simply be part of a coup? Maybe the old regime's fleet hasn't splintered off and that's causing your standing loss? As I said, just a thought.

Can you fix it ?
open launcher - log in to 9 accounts - pin 9 accounts - close launcher - open launcher - has now lost all my accounts i pinned - wont save my account details -

bug report > EBR-92792 I've heard a fix might be not putting the computer in to sleep/hibernation while the launcher is open. Now, even if you shut down your computer using Windows 8/10 this is still technically a hibernation due to how Windows does it's fast boot up. You can either close the launcher before you shut down your computer for the day, or disable hibernation by opening a command prompt (open start menu -> type "cmd" -> right click command prompt, run as administrator), and type "powercfg.exe /hibernate off" or "powercfg -h off". Alternatively (and this his how I shut down my computer), you can shut the computer down by running the command "shutdown -s" either through the command prompt or the run dialogue (Windows key + R). This will shut down your computer 30 seconds after the command is issued without going through the hibernation step. Your computer may take slightly longer to boot up, but you avoid some issues that the new fast boot causes (for example, my desktop loses all network connectivity until you restart it). You can also append -t 0 to shut the computer down immediately without waiting 30 seconds. If you don't normally use the run dialogue, the command will stay in the dialogue box so you can simply run it in the future by pressing Win + R + enter to bring up the box and immediately run the command. In any case, shutting down my computer in this manner is how I normally do it, and the launcher has never forgotten my account information.
Have you confirmed fast boot is the problem by disabling it in EFI and shutdown, rebooted and/or hibernated as you normally do when it forgets logins?
Personally, i don't think this is the only problem with the accounts being forgotten, or simply switching between TQ and SiSi wouldn't make the launcher forget logins, as this has nothing to do with fast boot or suspending. |

Frame rates seem to be lackluster around celestials such as gates, stations, POSs and belts (with environment off). Jumping taxes the GPU. And in stations and citadels viewing the field is really rough on graphical rendering. I am unsure why this keeps getting worse, but it doesn't matter if I run optimally for graphics, memory or performance nor has it mattered if I ran with DX9 or DX11.
Drivers were up to date until a few months ago when I realized visual glitches (such as strange lines 'flipping out') occasionally. Since then, I have changed nothing and the GPU lag seems to get worse. I am almost positive it is not an overheating problem, as it isn't overclocked and I have an extra fan running underneath to pull excess heat from the case.
There a snowballs chance we could get lowres pack in the forseeable future? I realize your graphics department works hard, but if my GPU explodes my outlook of EVE will go from "I want to multibox!" to "Hey look, a new group of apps, EVEtrillo and EVEspeak3!"

So what about fixing Aura repeating herself endlessly on docking request, missing drone target, capacitor empty and other events? As far as I remember this wasn't a "feature" like two releases ago? I'm pretty sure it was added to the game in 118.7 release. |

Yeah, this time it's really messed up, first the clouds on DX11 (this you could tolerate by removing effects), but now the new issue happens with every space scenery, planets, moons, the sun, also inside stations, ... seems not if you just look at a station, citadel or your ship alone ... but as soon some celestial comes into the view the GPU gets hick-ups after a couple of seconds.
The problem is regardless of the shader quality, however the fluctuation is'nt that much noticeable on low, because the base load of the GPU is much lower ... but even there the FPS drops below 60 for me after some time watching a planet. Also this may be the reason why others with more potent GPUs didn't notice the effect yet.
Maybe there are too many threads started somehow ("leak") which kill the GPU only after some time? Then the threads are terminated due to "overload" and the story repeats ...I'm not a graphics guru, but on the other hand the memory usage is low and stable, GPU does not throttle, CPU "idles" at 16% ...
... NVIDIA, DX11, newest drivers.
Please have a look, BR number posted above.

The audio team does have a fix for this, but the work touches a lot of systems and has not yet seen a live test server. As such (and because of the potential danger of shoving complex code onto TQ without player feedback), it's slated to hit Singularity the week of September 19th for public evaluation.
The upside (relative to comments elsewhere) is that provided there are no unresolved issues on the test server, the fix will accordingly arrive on Tranquility not in November as initially reported, but actually on the 11th of October.

I'm having an issue with tabbing to new clients, where by the radial menu for approaching immediately appears regardless of what I am trying to do, I have to forcibly cancel it before I can click anywhere else on the screen, if I don't cancel it the ship will move off in what ever direction I have clicked.
Is this an intended feature? :P I hope not it's really annoying.

By spamming, is it happening more than once per instance of docking with a running module? The reason I ask is because it should show up at least once under these conditions, but only once.

No kidding. Noticed that too. I was in the 8 range as well before the event sites, now I've moved from 4.6-something (cannot remember exactly) or so to a current 5.83. All of this after modifiers.
Math apparently are hard. Maybe adding one shot of 21.6% isn't the same thing as nine hits at 2.4% a pop separately considering how standings works. Come on, CCP. We do appreciate the willingness to fix that for us, but at least get within the ballpark. Personally, I don't care as long as I didn't loose enough to get stonewalled by agents, which I'm pretty sure I was fine all along anyways, but others might.

That's happened before for other ship visual redesigns. Bug report it, I guess. Maybe it's a problem with the current camera system, which means it will likely stay that way indefinitely.

I think the standings were incorrectly fixed. You seem to have done a increase of 2.4%*(number of times penalty received).
So people who had a high standing with Amarr took a hit, people who were Matar mission runners might now be sitting at +10 Amarr!
That's if my maths are correct. I am fairly sure that it takes the difference between where your at and where you can go and applies a %.
So a Matar mission runner with -7 Amarr standing runs say 10 of those, It took them to -7.65.. Then you guys said, Give him a 2.4%*10 boost (24%).. 17.25 * .24 = 4.14 gain... -7+4.14 = -2.86
So that doesn't even come close to what they had before!
Someone with a high amarr standing.. Lets say +9 If they ran 10 of those then it took them to +4.9 standing. You then gave them the same 24% boost.. 5.1*.24 = 1.224 gain.. or 6.1224 standing...
Again, That was not even close to what the players had before!..
If I am wrong on how standing gains and losses are calculated then someone feel free to let me know. But I am fairly sure that the following is the rule. Negative gain is multiplied times Difference of Standing and -10. Positive gain is multiplied times Difference of Standing and +10. |

It's always been like that to my knowledge. CCP probably left it in because it's not hurting anything. I'm confused as to how it's bothersome. Just ignore it?

I have been ignoring it so far, but why is the message there if people are recommended to ignore it? And there's also random "you cannot do that while warping" coming up when you enter warp that's been around even longer. At the very least CCP could tell me what I was trying to do when warping. |
