Ok.. let me guess... someone wtf pwned ur carrier?
There is no sense in making all capital ships immune to EW, that would make it too low risk to take one up to a battle. If u want immune capital ship, get a mothership.

Not the worst idea I have heard. I like that cap ships would be needed to hunt other caps. The problem I see is that 5000 is a lot for a titan. Under your scheme it would take at least 25 dedicated scramblers to hold it (realistically more). It shouldnt be easy to hold a titan but it shouldnt be that hard.
Also I dont really understand what youre saying about bumping. Are you advocating removing it? If so what happens when a dread hits a cruiser, doesnt it make sense that the cruiser (small ship would move)? I know newtonian physics hold little water in this game but still.
I really like the carrying ships with you. Maybe a good secondary use for tractor beams (and finally a reason to introduce med and large beams)? Maybe make it only work on gang members? Although I admit a Titan jumping in and stealing several BS from a gate camp and jumping out would be hilarious.
All in all pretty orginal and worth considering. But it does give rise to one sad fact...Capital Warp Core Stabilizer I

hmm, I'll conceed that bumping isn't normal game mechanics, but tbh, we all know the collision detection isn't based on sizes of ships (think of the chaos outside some of the busier stations, frigs cause bs's to bounce around).
