I'm sure it will be posted in due course.
In the mean time I can confirm that it was an excellent speech, full of inspiration.

A transcript is attached below for those not able to be present
Empress Catiz I wrote:Esteemed Officers of the Imperial Guard, defenders of the faith, protectors of the sovereignty of Holy Amarr. It is an honor that my first address as Head of State is made before servicemen and women from the Imperial Armed Forces who have served the Empire with such courage and devotion over the course of their careers. Capsuleers, both loyalist and independent, who have served the Empire in a time of need, successfully thwarting the attacks of a heretical enemy naming themselves GÇÿPurity of the ThroneGÇÖ. My Imperial Guard escort wears their colors in defiance, as a tribute to your tenacity on the field of battle. It is a privilege to address each and every one of you. I find myself humbled to see the familiar colors of so many loyalist organizations I have come to know and respect during my short tenure as heiress to the estate of my family. Today, I leave behind that legacy and my family name, humbled under the watchful gaze of the Lord, as his servant, chosen by divine rite. I see that my champion, Lord Kelon Darkight is present. May the Lord bless him for his prowess in combat. Today, I step forward to lead the people of Amarr into a new era. An era of prosperity, an era of growth. An era of change, and progress. For too long our course has been unsteady, our path uneven and unsure, rocky and infirm. The loss of two great leaders in a little over a decade, the noble and wise Doriam II, the fierce and devoted Jamyl I, has left our people reeling in a storm of uncertainty, our future clouded and unclear. Today, that lack of clarity ends. Today, our future is in our hands, and His light shines down upon us. Today, together, we stand firm at the beginning of a new path. A path that takes us on a journey paved with prosperity for loyal subjects of the faith. A journey, the first fleeting steps of which we take today, that marks a turning point for this great Empire and sets us on a course to stability, security and opportunity. To ensure an end to the atrocities we have borne witness to and experienced at the hands of those who would defy the word of God. However, with great military power comes great responsibility. The might and the honor of the Imperial Armed Forces will be restored, and with it we will usher in a new generation of capsuleers to support the Golden Fleet. Tens of thousands more capsuleers will graduate from the Imperial Academy to join our already established and prized loyalist forces, in the largest expansion to our pod pilot training program ever conceived. To support this growth, our administration will work to make the Imperial economy a powerhouse of activity, with new foreign policy and trade legislation that opens up our markets to the cluster like never before. The future of this glorious Empire is in our hands. In your hands, and with the EmpireGÇÖs might at your backs, this will be a defining moment in the history of Holy Amarr, and the legacy of the capsuleer. This will be your Ascension! Amarr Victor!

Even as a proud captain of the Republic, I have to admit she handled the ceremony with dignity. The event was another clear display of the mass lunacy of our capsuleer community however. There is nothing more volatile then 2,000 armed and angry captains all shouting over each other at the same time.
It's pretty remarkable the event didn't erupt into a bloodbath. |

You mean not erupt into more of a bloodbath? I did notice a fair number of capsuleer vessels intermittently exploding in the distance... And the few quite near the TES Purity itself. |

I know this is pure speculation but when you take this statement and Sanmatar Shakor attendance. One can't help wonder if legislation for slavery are going to be reviewed.

Yes, more of a bloodbath. Call me cynical, but when you put 2,000 capsules in the same orbit I automatically assume that at least some ships will explode and some poor crewmen will die for no logical reason at all.

It is no surprise when assorted malcontents, ne'er-do-wells and heretics try to disrupt this sort of event. But it is always heartening when they are punished for it.

What I was homing from the newly crowned Empress. While I'm happy she did mention the emergence of the Purity of the Throne, but I hoping she had mentioned some plan deal with other recent pirate activities.
What made me very excited to see was that the heads of states for all 4 major empires were present! I'm hoping the Empress Catiz I will take advantage of this rare opportunity and arrange a meeting between all of them to deal with ongoing threats to the the Cluster. |

She name-dropped a few people, like Admiral Blake, and, Mitara and Aldrith, and maybe a couple others, I forget offhand.
Maybe a policy announcement about vastly increasing the number of capsuleers in the Empire.
Which would likely mean a wave of new recruits to the Crusade, and thusly, woe to the Minmatar worlds.
Though, I guess that the Minmatar would eventually create their own new pilot scheme, to counter this.
So the war zone might become busier than it's been in a while. Or it might not.
A bit less dramatic than the Empress Jamyl's speech, about what you give to the Empire, she will give to you.

The Scope reported weeks ago on 'new cloning technology' that was being discussed between the heads of state and the capsuleer-elected CSM. What she announced, I'm sure, is nothing more than that the Empire is now the first highsec power to announce this expanded clone program. All four probably already have it in the works.

She is a mighty fine ship, even if she's too golden for my tastes and not fitted for her original purpose. Too bad about her assigned tasks though. I can feel her spirit screaming about the indignity of being fitted with mining lasers from the other side of the cluster.
Or maybe that's just my imagination.

She was actually decked out in Sarum colors for the occassion, I think. As for original purpose and indignity... the Veldnaught's a singular legend. If I heard she was tackled somewhere nearby, I'd likely assemble a fleet from my alliance to save the ship. Being a legend is never an indignity. |

The inside is still too golden.
Also, spirit. Who can say, really? If a person can be legendary at a task and yet absolutely hate every moment of doing that work, the same might apply to spirits too.
