Hello o/
I have a question regarding complexes. I have only done missions for agents so far, and would like to try these other sites that are out there. Right now I can do L3 missions just fine and have been improving my skills to optimize my best ship, a Prophecy. When it comes to complexes what should I have to consider first? How to find them, gain the skills/modules? Make sure I know which I can successfully do with what I have? I have done a little research on them, but it is still vague to me (maybe I am dumb).
Is there a set rule of thumb that says "yea you should be fine with xyz stats" or is more based on how well you know your ship? Right now I have over 32K EHP, and over 400 DPS. With the ability to fit accordingly to what I will be fighting.
I know in the end its whatever you as a pilot feel you are up for. But I thought I would ask for a little guidance.
Thanks o7 |

Rule of thumb, with lvl3 capability you should be able to run up to 4/10 DED sites. DED sites are either scanned down with probes from signatures or rewarded as occasional expeditions from completed anomalies.

Note that the aforementioned Prophecy can *only* get into 4/10s and higher. If you want to run 1-3/10s you need a smaller ship (1 frigates, 2 destroyers and smaller, 3 cruisers and smaller except T3s which are restricted to 5s and above). |

Rule of thumb, read the mission guides, if still not sure, try it on the test server, or take a friend along. |

In regards to exploration sites and not fixed sites, you first need to improve your scanning skills enough to become fast and powerful enough to find the sites you want to explore quickly. The fixed ( no need to scan down) sites are all relatively a yawner in regards to difficulty, no need to improve on what you have already in skills/ships. The exploration sites can spawn deadspace modules, as well as an occasional (rare) implant.
My suggestion would be to get all scanning skills to level 4;maxed is better.
To buck the popular trend, I began to Rage Start instead of Rage Quit.
...and every time I get another piece of Carbon, I know exactly what CCP is getting this Christmas.
