I still find it very humorous. Corps and Alliances from all over the Eve Universe lose Capitals on a daily basis. But when we lose one it makes news lol
This just proves that no matter what, people will always be on our nutz, regardless if they claim to hate us or not.

Well you should really find out what happened before running your mouth.
We weren't camping with these Carriers, we were engaging a 10-man gang that was attempting to steal our loot. Then about 30 Fin Fleet jumps in and the rest is history.

I wasnt smack talking I was simply pointing out the irony...
No offense but you ARE well known gatecampers with carriers, and what happened simply showed that risks are taken...if anything that was a complement.

I don't know those numbers seem to be off, from the kill mail only 12 people attacked one carrier and 18 attacked the other.

Killmail was truncated and could not show all participants. Ask FinFleet how many were truly involved.

And Ginger, just how many ships do you you think you'll get back via petitions before CCP realize, hey, maybe it's not the game, but the player?
Dr Slice: It's different with you guys because gate camping with carriers is not the same thing as using them in massive 0.0 warfare. Just as if Chribba were to use his dread to break a station camp in amarr prime during a corp war. Sure he could lose his Dread, but it's not at as much of a risk as it'd be in lowsec.
I just hope Motherships and Titans are actually killable* before they become a lot more common. Dreads used to be a rarity and something huge, now you can see dozens in fleet ops.
* excludes insanely lucky bumps against them, as well as killing them while the pilot isn't in game until it's too late.

After Detorid fell into RA hands FINFL decided to pay Empire a visit , and try something new such as Empire warfare. We have had a great week in empire fighting Privateers. Secondary objective was bursting Pirate camps in Low sec systems. First day we bursted a Pirate camp with 5 Battleships and 1 Archon . And now on our last day in empire we decided to pay Otou a final visit as i promised Tiller the other day Since Tiller and FINFL have a love / hate relationship
We where exactly 22 in Gang quite Battleship heavy thou, made a blitz move on Otou and caught Ginger at the Gate. OV showed 4 Carriers when we jumped in , and a few support. Support quickly warped out along with 2 of the carriers, but we managed to get a point on Tiller while we killed Ginger. Lag was at one point like 1 FP30secs and i was sure i would crash.
Apart from the Lag GF SNOWY

Props to Finfleet as always. But also fair play to OctoberSnow for bringing cap ships out to play. They're ALWAYS gonna get every man and his dog joining in the fight against them with their sec status, lol.

They sit on top of low sec gates and shoot people, of course they're bound to lose 1 every now and then..
Plus cap ship losses are an everyday thing now, not like it's the news bulletin of the century when one goes boom

So they lost a capital......
Every forum post you numpties make on these facts actually increased their notauraughty (sp ) I dought they are 'too' upset.
Depends why you play I guesse, Lets take for example Tiller.
If he wanted to just make isk so he could have uber expensive toys and tons of isk in reserve he would have carried on mission running. So why did he give it up to be a virtually poor pirate again. Thrill of the hunt ? Probably. Though no offense to GM if he was more interested in the hunting aspect of pirating he would not have joined October Snow.
So why join with the most hated pirate in EvE ? I think it's obvious tbh.
Cannibal
p.s. Tiller is 4tw, and DID win Eve !

ouchie. you guys must make a fortune from camping to actually be able to fund these losses. either that or someone hit it lucky on the bpo lottery or something. still, it shows ur not afraid to take them into combat which is a good thing.

That is something that has been discussed on many occasions tbh. a lot of ppl use them because it's the only way u can get a shield booster to permarun on a carrier which is something u really want to do considering how laggy most carrier fights are. the amp takes away most of the penalty from the relays anyway. personally i wouldn't do it but it aint stupid to. especially when they mostly use them to tank sentries to gate camp so perma running to tank sentries and a ship or 2 is easy even with relays on.

After breaking the camp down Otou Gate Hek felt like the Savannah where scavenger do the final cleanup.
Some fighter drones [120 Million value I believe] of Snowy were protected by some BS from empire. Just posing because no one wanted to take the risk of sentry fire. The carrier wreck was lootet and salvaged. The fighter drones were picked up by another Iteron I think. A single 23 Million drone had been left and destroyed by an Interceptor.

Yep, they seem weird but they gave the ship a cap recharge of 600secs. I always find on any cap ship tanking is easy, it's keeping your cap up when under NOS attack thats tough. You fit two shield boost amps to offset the cap relay penalty......
This was a attempt at a NOS proof carrier and it lasted around 8mins full on attack from I'd guess 30 odd ships.
I will fit the same way on next carrier also....

Perhaps you should sign up for some others since you will be in the area.
I suggest: 1) Scouts!? What the hell are they? 2) Tactics for killing ships larger than a hauler 101
