In this time player who had kill by gank in hisec had 3 option for kill right
-keep it him/herself -give to everyone -give to all in his/her corp
there are some injustice or hole in each choice first choice . If it was new player play for 1-2 months. How could he will take a revange with more experience&skill players.
second & third choice . we must accept that gank (or his co-corp) always had alt in npc corp he could had hil allied kill him in rookie ship or even his alt in npc corp could kill him.
So I would like to suggest forth choice
-player could give kill right to 3rd party corp. Another player's corp with this option it will make a corp that had focus on PVP in hisec they could hunt like bounty hunter and people could check is he/she is alt of ganker or not by seen their works in kill board.
With this choice I hope it will bring new play style in hisec. A Corporation of Bounty Hunter who could had PVP and kill without Concord intervene . If will make more activity and more fun. |

If the cost is high enough, it becomes too high for the character to activate it with their own alt; and if not too high, other players will still activate it in order to get an easy kill.
In many cases, gank alts are outlaw status and can be attacked anytime, however there's regularly situations where someone with a public killright on them is flying around in something worth killing and the killright is activated.
So it's a balancing act when making a killright public/limited access, between too low a price and too high a price.
As for your suggestion, some more options to assign killrights might be helpful to some people, so it's worth suggesting in the Player Features & Ideas forum.

I check the killboard, and if I see stupid stuff, I put a higher value on the public right ... else usually 10m.
I'm my own NPC alt.

Ganking ships are typically highly specialised for a single job. This makes it possible for a one month old player to take them out using their kill rights. For example: one of my very first solo kills was a suicide gank tornado in high sec. He had shot me in my hauler before so I had a KR, and now he was perched some distance from the gate, in a new tornado, looking for a next target.
Gank tornado are fit for high damage and high lock speed at long range. They have just enough tank to take some shots from gate guns before concord comes and finish them off. At close range, they cannot hit anything, so... bring a frigate, orbit at 500m, activate kill right, scram+web them and start shooting. |

Giving killrights away to 3rd parties sounds like a good idea.
While we're at it, might I propose an addition? Can we get a filter to not bother mentioning killrights above a certain value? (it doesn't even have to be relative to the ship- I'm simply not interested in anything over 15 mil no matter what it is). |
