EVE Launcher version 1089322 has the following changes:
- Fix to updating the Tranquility client, where the launcher would in some cases declare the update as failed even when all files had been staged correctly.
- Fix for a potential hang on exit on Windows.
Issues with the launcher window size are still under investigation.

It may be that the launcher does not shut down properly, preventing the updater from overwriting the evelauncher.exe file.
You can either reinstall the latest version of the launcher, or do the following:
Open up taskmanager. Start the launcher When it says the download is done and wants to install, press OK In the taskmanager, kill the evelauncher.exe process (on Windows 10, make sure to look at the detailed view).
This should allow the update process to finish properly.

Nothing but trouble so far.
Finally got it loaded, I assume......
But when I sign in, all I get is a black square where the sign in was, which just continues.
Got to head to office, but still not working for me. I will check back tonight. Maybe by then it will be fixed. |

Not getting anything. There were some update windows on previous attempts, one of them was 100%. Wouldn't let me log in.
Now EVE Launcher brings up white screen with "Checking GUI Version". Nothing happens. |

My previous problem was overlarge launcher display beyond edges of screen.
Now improved somewhat, at least oversize launcher display is in a Windows window instead of being full screen. May also be somewhat smaller, but still runs past the screen edge on all sides.
Attempts to resize cause a graphics glitch when you left click to grab double arrow for resize dragging, left/top/right edges (can't reach bottom edge). No resizing result.
'Settings' icon lower left, and 'Settings' choice(s) under menu icon top right, are going to confuse someone

This should allow the update process to finish properly. I have an alternative proposal. How about you fix your goddamn code? |
