I agree with all the others that have complained about the new character sheet. What brainless twit thought it needing changing? It's almost unusable now for managing skills and seeing other information.
What made the old character sheet decent was its greater simplicity. Most information was available in two steps: (1) find information category in a single vertical list that is easy to visually scan and select it, (2) look at the selected information panel and possibly scroll it and/or find a subcategory. Skills were managed via a dedicated panel and a separate dialog for adjusting the queue order.
The new scheme drops the sensible vertical scrolling panes for a poorly conceived mishmash horizontal tabs of major info categories and another set of subtabs within each category for the actual "real" category of interest. This is much harder to scan and forces you to hunt through a hierarchy forest to find what you actually want to look at.
The new skill management tab is a complete disaster. The dumbshit human factors / user experience person who thought it was a good idea to fit both skill selection/overview and queue management into a single all-in-one panel should be fired (or worse). The old scheme was better: the main skills panel made it easier to see what skills you have and what current levels were. The separate skill queue dialog also showed the current skill info but added the skill queue in an easily scrolled vertical pane with lots of screen real estate available if the dialog was enlarged. This made it much easier to scan and find things.
The new skill tab is a horrible web of three overly complex information panes with too little screen space available for each and a multi-column display of information categories that is hard to scan. Never combine both horizontal and vertical scanning of the same information field if at all possible. You can use both in a matrix with separate information types for each direction, but not for the same *single* information type.
The middle pane of the skill panel is painful to use as one is forced to click on each category in the upper information pain to select what category you want. The constant back-and-forth between these grows rapidly tiresome, and for the larger categories the middle pane is not large enough to easily see all the info you want.
The new skill queue is horrible. Trying to cram all of it into the lower pane almost completely destroys its function. For those of us who routinely have 30-50 skills in the queue, there is far too little screen real estate to easily see what's in training and whether or not it should be reordered.
TLDR: The new character sheet and skill management UI is a worhless piece of crap. Anyone involved in designing it should be fired and turned into an Amarr slave. |

Which skill? Did you submit a bug report? Would love to see a screenshot of what your UI is telling you so we can compare it with the server records.

Right before patch i activated 2x of those on 2 chars.
After the patch none of them worked anymore. the same happend to all other ppl using those Accelerators
CCP Lebowsky & other CCP members said they will make a script that adds/reactivates those Boosters.
Today i logged on and nothing changed. Big update to download but nothing in hangar no Redeem Items.
So i asked in Help channel and everyone including ISD Arooga seemd to forgot about this thing.
My question is:
Do we get those 2 items worth right now on market around 160millions isk Reimbursed/Reactivated or does every single customer need to submit a ticket?

There are missing color themes from the "genral sttings" tab.And my carahcter shwett should show a live picture of my craacter but it does not these are actually nota big poroblems the game just work fine for me. |

Not funny :-/ My account email addresses was confirmed since years before the update, so I didn't care about the notification that email addresses have to be confirmed. And now I can't confirm them again, because I use a own, private mail server
My two main accounts are blocked because of this issue. And when I remember correctly, no such email filter was announced. Ticket was created for one account yet, but I think i have to wait a while for the answer. (Also it's hard to create tickets, and answer them even there isn't any chance to login) Thankfully my board session wasn't gone with this update. |

My sub ran out yesterday, and I resubbed today, after the patch. Account management page verified that I was now Omega account.
When I tried to log on, the laucher asked me to upgrade to Omega, and I was restricted as an Alpha. So I had to log OUT of all my accounts (all Omegas), and then I relogged onto this account, and NOW it told me that I was Omega. This fixed the issue with the launcher registering me as Alpha, even tho the database/account manamgement got me listed as Omega. So an database vs launcher transfer issue it seems.
I have to agree with the other comments regarding the new Character management page. It might look fancy, but from a UI design userfriendliness point of view, its a massive step back in functionality.
The old method of having the skilltree in one window, and the Training Queue in another was very userfriendly/functional.
It seems like visual design has won over FUNCTIONAL design.
Give us options to configure the Character/skill window(s). |

ive not received one new verification at all and i have you CCP added as a contact on my Hotmail and nothing is still coming in.

I have received scattered reports of ore anomalies generating by infrastructure hub upgrades not properly respawning in conquerable 0.0. Anecdotally, sites are failing to respawn until after downtime, and sites that do respawn don't have the right composition of asteroids.

Unable to log in with any account on WIndows 10 PC. I was playing fine yesterday after DT on this PC with an Alpha clone, just tried to log in again now and I click the Play Selected button, or the Launch account triangle, the Triangle turns to a square then back to a triangle and nothing else happens.
Tried 2 diff accounts, same deal. Both accounts have been through the authentication and both work on my Win 7 PC.
Should I do a full reinstall? seems odd that something broke overnight when PC was off :p

Ok, this is the second day my alt's account is locked out and this is frustrating.

My attempt to complete the login was at 15:57 as you can see in the screenshot.
The mail came 15 minutes later and when i input the verification code i get the next screen.

Tickets are useless apparently since i get a mass-reply mail. I just want to know if i can ever login into my account again or should i just press the uninstall button and get over with it. |

I lost about 12 days of SP. Large Hybrid Turret V had about a week remaining before completion, the day before the update. Then afterwords it had reset to 19 days. |

Yes I submitted bug reports for characters affected. The skill was Small Energy Turret lvl 5 which has 548,431 skill points of 256,000 assigned to it - Char name = Corsomini

This is frankly unacceptable.
My main account is using hotmail and I have been asking for verification emails since yesterday but not a single one has come through yet.
I am not even able to cancel my subscription for the account until I can get confirmation that the problem has been resolved by CCP.
YOU HAVE MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO CANCEL MY MONTHLY PAYMENTS TO YOU WHICH IS ILLEGAL.
It's not a problem with the email account, as I can send a message to it from somewhere else and it comes through almost instantly. The most ridiculous thing is that I you keep sending me auto-replies telling me I need to raise a ticket, whenever I raise a ticket! And to compound that fact, you also provide me a link to my ticket, which I can't access BECAUSE IT REQUIRES EMAIL AUTHENTICATION TO ACCESS!
Please fix this post-haste. |

Is there any news from any Dev what the actual status of the submitted tickets, the known issues is? Looking for Dev posts I just came acroos the re-opening of the EVE store but not how's the problem solving is going.
Besides all the 'minor' issues (and the voice) It's just dissatisfying if you get to your log in screen which shows your subscription but you can only log in as alpha clone. Two training ques 'paused', not able to play and no response or status report for more than 24 hours.
As thrilled as I am for the new t-shirts in the store, could CCP give an update on the forums how they handle the situation? |

The launcher was remembering multiple accounts. Now it's constantly forgetting. Also the UI is jacked up on several spots. So I swear I had 1d 12hr left on skill, but at a random point in the day it was finished. The bar for the next skill was kind of... wonky. Citadels aren't always rendering and my speedometer is broke again. |

I have tried both in a POS lab and in an NPC station and the option is simply not there.
I have not been able to find a workaround for this one.

I cant login with an 404 Server Error on the Launcher. And again you bring a non working patch. It is near christmas and I think it is the best moment to leave EVE Online after 5 years with 3 Accounts. Best of wishes for the future in a new corporation with a working game. So here we are more than a day later and tickets are un addressed.
Still cant log in with second character.
I have jumped threw hoops and read about everything i can about dealing with log in issues.
Everything i can do has been done in by the dozen.
I have wasted a day sitting at my computer to playing YOUR game so i have some enjoyment.
Why does not CCP reverse fix this crap so we can all log in???
how many thousand of PAYING players can not log in?
AND or IF the 2 verification to do actually works the do the update.
Many of my friends are dealing with the same crap and there is nothing else to do but chat.......and do RL stuff but it is our choice to do what we do.
To do this on all days in 10 years of one of the most important releases CCP has done and it seems it has gone over so well......NOT.
This is great for what people read on reddit and other sites. How to shoot yourself in the foot.
In the mean time read my ticket and get this shiiiiit fixed |
