Pilots of New Eden,
I come before you, to stand beside you to tell you something I know nothing about. Incursions! CCP has allowed this once great game-play path way become nothing more than an easy way to make isk. No challenge - CCP Please make Incursions Great again. Here are my suggestions:
- Random chance of 42 Outunis spawning on the final wave of an NRF. - The NRF is the one site with variety in it preformed every day by HQ communities. But this variation is so weak it needs adjusting. I would like to see once a day in one random NRF per focus a spawn of 42 Outunis. This would greatly increase the danger of these sites and add in some unexpected variation, excitement and danger to Incursion fleets.
- Kundalini warps into TPPHs / NRFs / TCRCs - The only time we face this threat is at the end of an incursion. We know its coming and we can prepare for it. My suggestion is while a focus is in established the Kundalini will warp into one random HQ site in its focus every hour. It would spend up too two minutes using everything it has available including Fighter Bombers, ECM bursts, and its neutralizer to kill one random ship. When this ship is killed or the two minutes are up, the Kundalini would then warp of grid being ready to come back an hour later. Fleets however could attempt to defend themselves by pointing the Kundalini with a Hictor, however should the Kundalini be destroyed the incursion is over.
- Drifters are now allied with Sansha - From now on at the end of each site, there is a small chance of bonus spawn. This chance would be about the equivalent of a faction spawn in a nullsec anomaly. This spawn would include one Drifter battleship. Furthermore, if the TCRC tower can fully rep, two Drifter battleships will spawn. When they spawn they will pick up to one ship per drifter and doomsday that pilot, repeating this cycle every three minutes (locking and DDing a new ship) until the drifters are killed.
Guys lets be honest, incursions need a re-work. Please give your feedback on how the system can be improved.

Wtf are incursions? Just get a big fleet of shiny Hulks and then trap them with the new Rorqual invuln thing. Light a cyno and call in people to blow up your barges. Make iskies. way better than incursions. smh |

Okay, I agree with Nyx in principle, but not quite in application.
- A drifter alliance with Sansha is well out of lore and unlikely - Massive outini spawns would create havoc and be way overpowered for Sansha etc etc etc - OP ships spawning on a tower rep would kill a fleet - particularly when flying low numbers - Not just HQ sites need to be considered
BUT
I agree incursions would do well with a "sprucing" up - Having a random faction spawn with loot every 1% of sites would be interesting - Having the Kundalini warp in every 0.5% of sites, harass and warp out could be interesting - maybe dropping loot when it warps out - Having 1% of sites have a bonus room with a double payout and faction loot could be fun. Maybe a Sansha officer?

CCP. We need Command Battleships (5 burst links with rigs and some dps) We want them yesterday. Get working on it. |

I wouldn't have an issue if the difficulty level of incursions was raised. Randomly executing incursion battleships isn't the way to do it though.
I'm going to build a big wall that will keep the Gallente out, and they're going to pay for it!

I was thinking about incursions a while ago. One of the ideas was to make them interactive for others, not just competing fleets or the fleet running it at the moment, by dropping loot in the wrecks much like drifters do in WH sites. The loot itself would be like the LP tokens from the ESS modules and the payout of LP per pilot would be reduced accordingly as well as possible implants or bpcs like those in the Concord LP stores already and as such the isk pool would be reduced accordingly as well. This would mean that players can interact by stealing and looting these in a very dangerous environment, not only being aggressable by other players in the incursion upon stealing but also the NPCs themselves. I would also add a function that these be the only wrecks NOT to be able to be tractor beamed.
In competing fleets only those wrecks you kill will be white to your fleet and thereby give the competing fleet an opportunity to either steal and engage those who engage them or to get some sort of a payout for their efforts instead of an all or nothing approach atm. This would give more incentive for fleets to at least "try" to compete as they MIGHT get a decent drop that would make it worthwhile.
All LP tokens would have to be taken to Concord stations in low sec in order to be cashed in much like tags for sec. This means intercepting the tokens to their cash in point would be a fun pirate activity as well and add some risk to the entire venture. I wouldnt make the tokens small either but not too large, I think in the areas of the Overseers would be alright (10m3) but no larger than 100m3 each.
Other than this randomizing incursion spawns would be a nice touch as well imo.
