After knowing a member of the Establishment for a while now, i knew about their Nyx when it was first launched, as i had no knowledge of what a Mothership could do, i didn't see the achievement as something major.
1 Year on and the mothership is still roaming the spacelanes and low-sec and 0.0 space, with almost clearing everything in its path. The Establishments killboard was phenominal, the Nyx was ripping through anything from frigs to Carriers. I remember the day, which i will never forget when a FLA fleet entered Fountain, the system of YZ-. The enemy fleet consisted of about 15-18 battleships. The Celestial Apocalypse fleet was forming. I was in a covert-ops keeping a close eye on the fleet when i see "Kitambi" Enter local, i say on the Celes Ventrillo, No bother guys, they are already dead, The Mothership cyno character was here.
It was a matter of minutes when i saw a cyno field pop up on the overview, Ign0raMus, DeMundus had appeared in local, along with Ange1, The attack was iminent. I clicked the Overview, and what did i see, 2 Thanatos and 1 Nyx on scanner withing 3AU. Out they came of warp, roughly 44 fighters were launched, and targets Warp scrambled, The effort from FLA ended with the Nyx probably not even turning on his armor rep, when ALL FLA Battleships had died.
Ive never seen such amount of battleships die within a short space of time, with 3 ships.
The Establishment's reputation has been enhanced by the creation of the mothership, and are feared in all corners of space.
So lets not let them get a second! Jarack.

I remember this, but it was only 7-8 Battleships in their fleet, with the rest being support. They blew up our Cyno character as the ships jumped in, so our Capitals got in but ended up at random points in the system, which worked to our advantage. One of the pilots said "Cya" in local after blowing away Kitambi. Then I made them all aggro on my Deimos, we warped the Capitals in, killed the Battleships and we said "Cya"

We built her. That is to say, we did most of the hard work of getting the ISK and Minerals together for building the components, with some outside investor help along the way for the BPO's required. For a modest fee, we gave NAGA all the components and they built it for us in their Capital Shipyard. From initial idea to build it, up to the delivery of the ship took 5 months.

Congratulations Establishment on keeping such a beautiful ship intact through such a long period of EvE's turbulent history. Only wish my Aeon and your Nyx could of met one day and killed many ships in glorious combat, sadly I thought tanking the entire MC capital fleet wouldn't be a problem.... (Knew someone from the MC would sneak this into the thread before me)
Still from the first time I saw it in Fountain (blue thankfully ) I knew you guys were experts at handling her. Here's to another year of Nyx Carnage!

O how I remember your NYX. I just got back from a leave of absence when I logged on to see your NYX in our POS. Talk about in interesting 2 hours when I was only on to change skills and the rest of the corp was no where around. ISS corps that came to help out hats off to you as well. Both encounters were free of smack. Think you guys podded me 3 times that day trying to get it back online. One of the times I forgot I had changed my birthing station and ended up all the way in the NW regions, being I started in Catch that was a shocker.
I commend you and your corp. Afterwards we talked and you guys were cool about everything, actually took the time and told me what/what not to do/look for I appreciate that. Still would like my apoc back but thats water under the bridge.
Congratulation's on your anniversary and I hope you see another

Happy Birthday Hera!
During my time in Sanguine Legion, we were camping a gate in Huola to make some iskies. Most of us knew who Ign0ramus was and what it means you see him, but somehow we missed him in local and missed his ship on scanner (there was no cyno field so he must have logged in space beforehand).
The next thing we see is what looks like a battleship-sized ship (damn icons!) come in at 15km. We lock him up, ask ourselves on Teamspeak why our scramblers aren't working, when out pop 25 fighters from this beast. Thankfully because of its immunity to EW, none of our folks were flagged, and some were able to jump through the gate while others warped off, resulting in no casualties.
For a while we debated if there was any chance at all of taking this thing down, most of them involving damps (IMMUNE TO EW OLOL), then we realized it's basically invincible in low-sec space. One corpmate decided to take him down with his Crow and was greeted by many fighters, a web, nos, etc. That Crow was our only loss from Hera, but it was definitely a fun experience. I can imagine that Ign0ramus never gets tired of seeing groups of battleships run away in fear. Your signature is inappropriate, please email us to find out why -Sahwoolo (mods@ccpgames.com) |

The first that comes to my memory was in fact when most of The Establishment had a RL meetup in Oxford. 9 of us had gathered together for a weekend, and we had a LAN session of EVE. Many of us were intoxicated with alcohol or other substances and there was a distinct lack of discipline when compared to our normal TS operations. It was during this that at some point during the op, we had annoyed the then Huzzah Federation and they had quickly gathered a fleet of ships. Hera was cloaked in a spot where we had previously killed someone and had not moved. The bad guys had noticed this with a covert ops....
The jovial atmosphere in the room suddenly turned to dread and tension when Rawthorm reported a 30 man fleet had landed right on top of him, decloaking Hera. Many of us gathered around his montior to see the fleet completely surrounding, nossing and bumping him as they engaged along with a massive amount of lag. However, managing to keep his cool, a Cyno was opened up next door and with a roar of cheers in the room, Hera jumped out to safety before the enemy fleet had time to drain her of cap. The fleet followed and the Cyno ship was destroyed, but in an effort to be cheeky, Hera came out of warp at range from the enemy Fleet, sent her Fighters after a Battleship and killed it before running off. More Rum was consumed after this
Actually, this was a few wekes after NOS had broken off from Huzzah. The fleet was ran by NOS. 2006.07.08 I'll remember that night. Huzzah had ran a ceptor/frig gang up to Misaba that night, and left FSW-3C shortly before you arrived. I watched you loiter that thing on the gate and cloak it in FSW-3C, sitting there in my little Buzzard.
Then you kept moving, slowly into the pocket past QBL-BV.
Just what we wanted, even if we lost everything trying, I was determined to get a ***** on that mothership. So the call went out. If you in the pocket get safe. If your not, get down here, get in anything and get moving. You don't have time to requip, just move. (we had already been discussing anti capital tactics, the doctine was lots and lots of large neutralizers and nosferatus.) We didn't have the right ships, or the right plan, but hey, we wanted a *****.
Ign0ramus moved into PI5-39 (I think, I'm looking for the screenshot ) and our allies jumped down the pipe as fast as they could. I warped to the cyno field, expecting to die, but no I got there, and watched The Establishment loitering. And loitering.
I wondered wtf you were doing, but hey, the more time you blew, the better our chances were.
CVA, Aegis Militia, Huzzah Federation, Imperial Order as well as local friendlies, maybe even a few IAC got in, and headed to PI5-39 (HF Core), where they were to assemble on the gate to GN7-XY.
Local cleared
The gang was moving 10 jumps out 8 jumps............. 7........... The fleet just got bigger and bigger, as every local we saw joined. The fleet got slower and slower, as every local in the area joined.
Then, Ign0ramus cloaked at the deepsafe where he had cyno'd in.
Stationary.
For what seemed like an eternity, I sat there, 20km off, parked. Hoping against all hope, that you hadn't set a course. You would be slow when cloaked, but that slow? We wouldn't find it if it moved.......
Finally, TS *****led. The fleet was here. No planning, no anti capital fleeting, no available dreadnoughts either, no cyno ships to get them there, just every ratting boat in the area coming for chance to die like a man.
And over TS, my orders went out.
We have never flown together before.
I hardly know half of you. But this is an honour. Stay together and focus fire. On my command, jump, warp to Angry Dan. Warp at 20km, and load for max damage. On my mark Jump Jump Jump
Local flew up.
And I sat there, hoping that I was lucky. Pilots started arriving in drips and drabs.
