Again, thank you everyone for your valued inputs, opinions and thoughts. Here is another thought I had last night just for the sake of civil discussion related. The use of cargo scanners I believe should be left alone, meaning that I have no objections to it's use. I use one all the time and still clear the sites as is to respawn a new site.
My thinking that yes, it is possible that by leaving a partially completed site can produce an amount of pvp, but would defeat the purpose of exploration to a degree. I think that because explorers are a hearty lot bent on finding hidden treasures and then losing their finds so the aggressor reaps the benefits really discourages explorers.
On the other hand however I am wondering if Alphas are abusing the use of cargo scanners so that if another explorer goes only to find an incomplete site and someone else is sitting there cloaked and engage in hopes of getting the drops after podding, is it really fair for all parties involved?
I am of the opinion that this is justifiable, meaning risk and reward. We take risks in explorations in hopes of getting rewarded for the efforts put out in hoping to cash in and maybe come out ahead with a 100mil haul, maybe. Some comments about the Dronelands again I believe we should throw that into the mix as well even tho I never been there yet myself.
I don't know if we could come to a solution to this but I like to know more before I offer any solutions, or even petition a change to a small degree in the use of cargo scanners by restricting it's use to only Omegas, your thoughts ideas? |

I've come across a few that have definitely been cherry-picked ( i know because i watched them do it while i was cloaked) and after killing the poor schmuck i hacked the cans left over just because. A few times i've scored faction pos mods and yummy things. Are can-scanners 100% accurate?
I would think it would be?

I have not seen a good reason as to why this is a problem. You need to understand supply and demand. Lack of sites simply means the value of sites and the loot contained within them increases.
Taking your flawed logic to the extreme I could suggest that all sites instantly re spawn in the same system so that special snowflakes don't have to compete and have an unlimited supply of sites they can continuously farm.
