What drones are best for killing guristas? Been mining and 2 or 3 get my venture into armor. Right now I'm using warrior drones and they done seem to be working too well. I cant add shield boost or resist or they will target jam me forever so I'm using 3 sensor boosters. |

Hornets. Guristas can tank explosive damage all day but are relatively weak to kinetic. |

If you have drones on agressive they should target the enemies even if you are jammed. |

I am not arguing the use of Hornets, based on resist holes they are the proper ones for Gurista rats. That said I always preferred Hobgoblins or Warriors simply because thermal is a secondary resist hole for most of the rat types and the higher damage multiplier of the Gallente drones often overcomes what little disadvantage they may be at because of resists. |

So this argument goes way back of course, but I actually like to use Hornets and Acolytes.
Hornets do enough damage that to kin-weak rats they are hands down better than hobgoblins. They can also hit the secondary resist hole for Angels hard enough to *almost* overcome the explosive advantage of Warriors.
Furthermore, Hornets are faster and track better than Hobgoblins so you get higher quality hits and get them sooner.
As for Acolytes... Umm. I like to be different? They're not as **** as they used to be, but Hobgoblins are still better (though only slightly now!) against EM-weak rats. However, they are still quite a bit faster and have much better tracking than Hobs, so there's that. |

also try to orbit the rock instead of just sitting still. your speed will reduce some of the incoming damage. |
