I too have been suffering serious issues since the latest release of EVE. At first things worked OK but quickly the usual launcher started to throw some sort of certificate error when started. After a bit more the launcher stopped working altogether.
A black magic mixture of updater.exe, evelauncher.exe, and loglite.exe in the Launcher folder of the EVE installation worked for a little while more and then that gave out. A full reinstall of the client worked just a couple more times and now stopped working entirely too. The only thing that happens is that the EVE launcher icon will appear in the taskbar and disappear if interacted with in any way. So far I haven't been able to find any further solution or workaround.
Other people seem to be having big issues too and the only problem I have on my PC right now is with EVE so I'm inclined to believe the problem is with EVE. But maybe Microsoft updated something on their end related to Windows 10 that affected EVE. |

Quiet the same here.
Since yesterday, the launcher icon appears in the taskbar but not disappear if interacted with in any way. Instead of this, the launcher display a blank screen.
would appreciate to have a solution quickly.
Regards.

This issue was not introduced with this patch, but it became more prominent with this one. Look at this picture. The slot and stack number values hide the pretty important identifier part of the module icon. This was not an issue with the old way where the slot and stack number value were on the left side of the icon because the icons were designed this way. Now some muppet in your UI department decided to move the slot and stack value to the right, but did nothing to switch the icons themselves around to avoid occlusion of important visual information. Ought to be fixed.

My ridicule, heavy criticism and general pale outlook about your or CCP's ideas is nothing but an encouragement to prove me wrong. Give it a try.

Day 6 Yoiul Festival gift "YC119 Yoiul Festival Accelerator" does not work properly.
Once activated it reduced the time for skills already in queue. However, when selecting new skills for queue the time is not reduced. It continues to learn the skills at the same rate before the accelerator was activated. |

And there is still nothing there worth buying for the 300 Aur some got and others didn't.. 2 of my 7 active accounts, all of which were logged in each day have no AUR. PS; I don't care, I don't use the money store for anything. Postage is just too high, $45.00 for a coffee mug
I wonder if an ISD could look past posting the obvious to assist this guy - Not this one, he obviously isn't that smart.
Try this one,e https://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/yoiul-festival-gift-300-aur/?utm_source=launcher_news&utm_medium=launcher&utm_campaign= then see if you can offer the guy some assistance. Instead of thoughtlessly shutting down his issue. Even CCP support aren't that fukin rude.
I wonder how many thousands of players are unaware AUR and a laughable discount (postage costs more than most of the gifts) were 2 of the gifts simply because so many don't use the forums.
My opinions are mine.

Not sure if this is a known issue or if this was working as intended. C72 gas did not spawn in Ordinary sites (multiple)
All guns were in place so really don't think someone nija huffed it with sentry gun fire going.

Initial NPC missile salvos visually originate from the targeted player ship's hardpoints rather than from the NPC like normal. Purely visual bug, no impact on NPC or player weapons, missiles even still corkscrew around me and then fly back to me in a timeframe that seems to respect the range between me and the NPC. Seems to happen pretty consistently so it shouldn't be hard to reproduce, just run a Guristas mission or any sig/anom in Caldari space.
Observed this behavior from several racial families of mission and complex NPCs that fire missiles, so it's not just Guristas. After the first shot from an NPC's missile weapon, subsequent salvos behave as normal.
"Tomahawks?"
"----in' A, right?"
"Trouble is, those things cost like a million and a half each."

Also, and this may be pointing out the obvious, but the preview windows for previewing item/ship, fitting window, and Ghost fitting window are all still bugged from since Citadel.

Can we PLEASE get the word "cunnecting" at login replaced with at least a facsimile of decent, acceptable English - The correct pronunciation is CONnecting.
The spelling,"connecting", there is no YOU in the word "connecting". 5 little letters, A E I O U, the fundamentals of the English language
The 1st audio cue any player, new or old hears, is the worst grammar I've heard aside from my time living in the outback with people who simply grunted profanities between swigs of their goonie.
Sadly most of those profanities were not as bad to listen to as the terrible pronunciation of that single word.

Hi,
don't know if its already known, but
It is not possible for normal Corporation members to drop items to a Corporation Hangar on a Citadel or Engineering Complex, with no explicit rights to this hangar.
The red circle tooltip says
"Drop access only"
but if you try to drop an item you recieve a
"Access denied. You have been denied access for the following reason: You do not have the required roles."
CCP, please fix this! ;-)
Thanks and kind regards!

I do agree with you that it sounds odd. To my trained ears though, that 'o' sounds more like the 'e' in 'ratter' with, as you say, a slight glide towards an 'uh' sound.
The aim seems to have been to achieve a more conversational effect, by having the voice artist speak in a 'normal, everyday' way rather than use the public announcement simulation we've grown used to. In British English, 'cernecting' wouldn't go amiss at all, and I doubt it would do so in the US. Elsewhere, I don't know.
Try it yourself. Say 'cOnnecting', then 'cERnecting'. Which sounds most natural to you?
I agree that the actress does overdo it though. This is likely because of over-practising/rehearsing, or just too many takes. It tends to make you emphasise unconsciously the bits you're trying to get right!

Some feedback:
1) In fitting window when hovering mouse on module in inventory ship's CPU/PG indicators remain unchanged, but in past they were reflecting fitting requirements, so I could check 'at a glance' if my module will fit without actual dragging/dropping.
2) Some important UI sounds are missing! Most important for me - 'scan' button tweet on d-scan (yes, it sounds like bird's tweet).
3) Jita market is delayed/bugged - in past time there was no such problem even with 2k local, but now with 1-1,5 it is bugged as hell. Probably some tech issues. I accidently bought some stuff twice - no big deal, but not cool.
4) Target locking bug - appeared just recently. When locking target it sometimes drop off. Or targeting continues too long.
5) Also, bug with grouped guns is still here! Why - it was reported long time ago? Thing is when I activate grouped guns by clicking/pressing shortcut the actual outgoing damage is low as like I fire with just one gun. I often fly thrashers (7 turret slots) and I can definetely say - its not 'graze' or bad tracking or high resists or smth.
6) Thanks for bringing shortcut for minimize/maximize all button, but it would be good if you release TAB key for it as well - because it needs to be near left hand but every keys there are already binded (!).
7) Bug with renamed ships is still here! C'mon guys - it is over 3 years old! Behavior - when renaming the ship it can occasionally revert back to old name. I suppose it may be connected somehow with 'indexing delay', so when you change star system right after renaming your ship - it can revert back [need to verify, of course].
8) Good job on removing OGB boosters - it made my lowsec scrubs' life a little bit easier :)
9) Sadly, but I had to set new Aura's voice to zero - I prefer previous variant much more. Would be win-win if we had a choice between VOs. |

It tends to make you emphasise unconsciously the bits you're trying to get right! "Connecting" is the natural (and correct) pronunciation. Which may well be down to the time period I attended school (over 50 years ago), I do know many English teachers these days have no respect for correct pronunciation or grammar, you just have to listen to younger generations speaking to see how obvious this is.
Cernecting may be considered acceptable in the US but when speaking British English it is definitely cOnnecting - Unless of course you are a bogan or a member of some other group that by it nature bastardizes the English language.
And yes, repeating the same phrase over and over "to get it right", is by far the best way to get it so terribly wrong.
The best way to lose the attention of a crowd is bad grammar and pronunciation - EG; Listening to some of the presentations at fanfest is painful and sadly I have noticed over the years it is those who speak English as a first language that are worst offenders.
I understand what CCP is trying to achieve with the new Aura - I just don't understand how they got it so wrong. Not only is the voice too high pitched it is not a "natural" speaking voice. Listen to a recording of an air traffic controller (the closest RL thing you could compare to Aura) some time, THAT is the sort of voice CCP should have been going for, not the squeaky over emphasized noise they settled on.
My opinions are mine.
