Would there be a possiblity, that Caladari bloodlines have crossed paths with other factions in EVE? I mean by RP standards...I got the idea from one of the threads on here. |

Absolutely they have.
In EON: EVE Online Magazine, there is a fantastic story told by a Gallente grandmother of her Caldari husband fighting the invading Federation during the first Gallente-Caldari War on Caldari Prime. The story involves her reading his letters starting at the onset of the war, leading up to her own evacuation from the planet. It's fun to note a few references which demonstrate that the children have adopted their Caldari heritage with little or no Gallente influence.
Another aspect is her struggle to evacuate. She details the cultural friction that exists.
I'd love to scan it and post a link, but I'm sure I'd get in all sorts of trouble.... even though it's out of print and CCP haven't acknowledged these lore treasures in a long time.

The Caldari don't really identify themselves by ethnicity, but rather by culture/lifestyle. They can be somewhat xenophobic and are definitely homophobic, but at their core they really just abhor any kind of foreign influence trying to change their way of life. If you can adapt to their system you are considered by them to be Caldari.
So, yes, the Caldari can and do mix. I'll have to take a look back st my copy of Eve:Source, but I'm pretty sure pairings are oftened determined by parental achievement, socioeconomic status, and genetic integrity. |

"Despite identifying as one collective Caldari unit, the Deteis and Civire rarely intermarry".

That's the only real point on Caldari specific ethnicity. Otherwise the State has the lowest immigration among all the empires (pg 114).

Yes, even 20,000 years in the future, people with different backgrounds get together and have babies sometimes. |
