When Diana mandated it a long time ago by attacking anyone who refused a duel as having no honour, and also has equated having no honour as worthy of a tea ceremony. One can of course obviously have a different honour code, but I really believe this one is a case of doing what you demand other people do. |

Would a hypocritically ludicrous double standard in such an infantile mindset truly surprise you?

Right. Like I said: not a defense of Diana. My question is more: why are you validating her by reinforcing that position? |

Please, let us have a moment of silence for those precious seconds and minutes that were lost during the creation and continuation of this pathetic thread.

I'm surprised that people aren't more outraged that when two capsuleers duel the only lives on the line are their poor crews. "Let's them and them fight" so as to speak. I don't think any duel in anything other than a single-manned fighter can be considered anything other than murder-by-proxy or appointing champions.
Obviously the Amarr culture has a long history of appointing champions, which is all fine and well for Amarr, but I'm not sure that Caldari duelling has the option of choosing proxies to fight for you. Someone inform me if I'm wrong.
For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead
in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a
hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.
