The Annihilator is a low- health extremely high damage ship. It has 3 doomsday systems, 9 high slots, a bonus to doomsday damage, spool- up time, and cooldown, has a role bonus that it can move while firing a doomsday, has alot of capacitor, and is fast (enough to outrun dread or titan tracking), however it has less ehp than many battleships and a penalty to capital armor and shield modules(plates/extenders, resist mods etc.), and is limited in ability to actually kill subcaps without aoe doomsdays

You just asked for the most broken and overpowered nonsense you could possibly think of, that will eat entire fleets all on it's lonesome and demolish caps in seconds.
You forgot to ask CCP for a pony to go with it. |

You forgot to ask CCP for a pony to go with it. Entire fleets of what? And I was hoping that it would just demolish caps but get demolished by sub- caps |

Fun fact: Titans used to have AoE doomsdays. They were removed because players started to throw them into a fight one by one and wipe entire fleets until everything died.
It turns out that this was "not good gameplay" and thus Doomsdays were changed into coherent beams of absolute destruction.
How did you Veterans start?

Delete the idea entirely, because something that can sit there and vomit three lance DDs into a subcap fleet is laughable.
With three lance or sickle DDs, it will eat entire fleets of subcaps. With three standard DDs, it will eat caps.
Why do you want a ship that can destroy subcaps by the fleet, nuke any regular cap it comes across and put a sizable dent in any titan or super, all on it's own? |

I think the Polaris Frigate can do just that. Problem is, you need to train Polaris to level V first.

Why do people always think any turd of an idea they squeeze out here necessarily deserves a "constructive" response?
Some ideas are irretrievably awful. This is one of those.

Yeah, this is just a bad idea. It would be ridiculously imbalanced by letting super fleets pack even more DDs onto the field. A DD heavy fleet like that wouldn't be fun to fight against. The ship doesn't even fill a coherent role, it's pretty much purely some DD happy player's wet dream.
On top of all of that it's pretty clear you haven't actually thought this out. The speed required to out-run Titan tracking with a Super Cap sized signature would give the ship one of the fastest base speeds in the game just for a start.
This is just a bad idea from start to finish and hasn't been well thought out. |

As a basic design goal, some anti-capital ship that is extremely weak vs. subcaps sounds pretty good. However, as others have mentioned, what you just described would be very unbalanced. There are now AOE-style doomsday, and 3 of them stacked would shred subcaps. 3 normal doomsdays would make it unbalanced against titans, since it would cost a fraction of the price but produce dramatically more DPS. In addition, capital sig is just too large to effectively speed tank a dread's guns, so it would need to be smaller.
To balance it, you could potentially give it a huge nerf in doomsday damage and restrict it from using AOE doomsdays in a T2 battleship hull. However, I personally don't like it. It would cheapen doomsdays, and I like them where they're at right now, as amazing, but rarely seen weapons.
In my opinion, a logical alternative would be a T2 variation of attack battlecruisers, maybe with only 2 highslots: 1 for a capital-sized gun (no high-angle guns allowed), and 1 for a mini-siege module (which can't be activated in highsec). It would pump out substantial DPS vs capitals, and would have a lot of mobility before it fired, but would be completely helpless against subcaps and would be immobile and vulnerable for a minute or two while it sieges. |

At least you can't fire it remotely through a cyno field this time.
