Alphas can utilize top end industrial haulers like Mammoth to bot level 4 courier missions.
I suggest restricting them to the first tiers of industrial ships (IE: Wreath) or remove their ability to utilize them altogether. |

Since the last two covered the rest of what had to say I will simply suggest this.
If they are bots terminate them with extreme prejudice, if ganking is not your thing the try a war dec. |

Get a clue.
What is ever going to make you suspect a bot? Just because they don't answer your messages doesn't mean anything. Suicide ganking mission haulers? Way too much effort for no reward, and doesn't solve the problem.
This garbage isn't a issue the players should have to clean up.
The reasonable thing to do is to make it so that you can't fly top end haulers with tier 1 skill. Unfortunately, most of you who actually play this skill-less game are morons who are incapable of seeing the best solution. |

Is the tanky hauler or the fast hauler the 'top end'? They removed ship tiers a long time ago. |

so obviously make it so they can't do that crap. Common sense. Get some.
Some courier missions give approx 1200 LP and over 1 mil isk and can potentially take 1 jump to complete. I know of a few agents where all the missions they give you take 1-3 jumps with a rare 4.
I would estimate its very close to what you would be making per hour doing combat missions, but with zero effort. |

Alphas still need to haul. Not gonna restrict their ability to use capacious haulers because they are running distribution missions.
How is running missions abuse anyways?

Ban them from using industrials at all? seems a bit harsh, doesn't it? |

Alphas don't need to be able to run level 4 courier missions with bots.
You don't necessarily have to restrict them from hauling altogether.

I did, but you just said 'since we can't tell what a bot is we'll just stop them using certain haulers' Which is ********. Alphas still find use in the larger haulets and there is nothing wrong with alphas running level 4's.
If botting is the problem, focus on the botting rather than blanket nerfing every alpha.

So botting is the issue, not Alphas, not the ships, and not the missions. So why does this thread exist? |

Since you neglected to show up with any facts, and a casual review of a selection of some popular LP store items didn't show any appreciable change in their pricing trendlines since Ascension, I'm just going to go ahead and assume that the entire premise of your post is fictional.

Courier missions are the only legal botting in the game.
Which is why they pay so little.
You click accept mission>Set desitination>activate autopilot
This is literally what you do when MINING is too much effort for you.
Explain to me how this "botting" behavior is against the EULA. |

What is ever going to make you suspect a bot? Just because they don't answer your messages doesn't mean anything. I suggest that you go back and read your own original post, YOU are the one that brought up bots in fact it is the central theme to your original post. But I do want to turn this one around on you, if it is so difficult to determine if a character is actually a bot how do you know that bots are a problem that needs to be solved?
NofriendNoLifeStilPostin wrote:Some courier missions give approx 1200 LP and over 1 mil isk and can potentially take 1 jump to complete. I know of a few agents where all the missions they give you take 1-3 jumps with a rare 4.
I would estimate its very close to what you would be making per hour doing combat missions, but with zero effort. Here you simply prove your virtual lack of knowledge about this game. I can make more ISK and LP blitzing level 3 security (yes that is right they are called security missions not "combat missions" than I can running level 4 distribution missions. And by time I get to level 4 security missions I can easily make 4 to 5 times the ISK and LP I can running level 4 distribution missions.

NofriendNoLifeStilPostin wrote:Way to completely miss the point, moron. Now these are in a class all by themselves, yet they are so typical. When all else fails and you cannot use logic and facts to support your side simply resort to name calling and insults.
Restricting all alpha clones from using the industrial class of ships because of a few that may be using them to bot is a rather draconian measure, a measure that the currently available evidence suggests is not required. |

Because the OP was probably botting them and now the rewards have gone down as alphas started running them manually.
