This character was at trade hub 1 and needed a faction module fitted to a rigged ship in trade hub 2 some distance away.Alts A and B were director and CEO of a 2-man trade corp. This character contracted the rigged ship to alt AAlt A was in the same system as this one, and duly stocked up with goods to take to alt B to sell at trade hub 2.Alt A flew out to trade hub 2, accepted the contract and bought some goods to take back to trade hub 1.Alt A only then remembered that he didn't have the skills to pilot the rigged ship and remove the faction module without repackaging it, destroying the rigs.Alt A used his 1 available contract slot to transfer everything over to alt B, who fortunately had the required skills.Alt B logged on and accepted the contract. He, too, was only able to create one contract at once, but needed to send the ship back to me and send the module back to alt A.Alt B's solution: he issued a private item exchange contract to himself for the faction module and accepted it on behalf of the corp, sending it into the corp hangar, where alt A could reach it, then created another contract to give me back the rest of the ship.Alt A logged on and accepted the contract. He had miscalculated and had too much cargo to haul back, so he did the same trick again to return the excess to the corp hangar to be sold on by Alt B. He's been heading back on autopilot while I've been typing this ------ Top speed calculation spreadsheet - updated for the recent speed nerf Army of doom headcount: 26,045 |

Apart from this thread making my brain hurt......
Alt A is a bit of a numpty, as no rigging skills are required to fly a ship fitted with rigs. The skill is only needed to build and fit them.

Dunno about the ship, but as far as the rigs are concerned you need NO astronautic skills unless you are going to build or fit the rigs.
As a pilot, the skill affects the drawback of the rig. Without the skill you suffer the full drawback effect of the rig (-10% armour in this case). The skill reduces the drawback. And you'll need someone else to fit them for you.

He was missing the racial skill for the ship itself (he didn't have the rigging skils, either )

Trick of the alt trade, create an alt who can do contracts, alt tab out of game, log into alt a, b or c and trade/contract between the alts...
then, once the time is up, sell it on eve-o forums as a trade alt and recoup the cost of skills.
