First off, I would like to keep the focus of this thread kind of narrowà simply put, two similar things that act differentlyà
As a Miner/Industrialist, I have noticed that in the case of a Mining Laser/Strip Miner, the Info/Attributes of that laser, if mounted on my ship, reflect the amount it will mine per cycle, adjusted for my abilities as well as any other adjustments (Ganged with a ôMining Formanö for example).
But all my Mining Drones still read 15 m3 per cycle even as they pull in 31 m3à
I have also seen that when a Mining Laser/Strip Miner finishes an asteroid, I get a message that the asteroid is now a ravaged huskà a former shadow of its former selfà but when the drones finish an asteroid, they quietly go idle and mess with the Hauler I have standing by to carry the ore to stationà no message, nothingà
In both cases, Drones need to act the same as the Mining Laser/Strip Miners work, reflecting my skills in their attributes and notifying me that the asteroid has been depleted.
Next issue has to do with Stations and Gatesà We warp to and use (enter a station or Jump with a gate) I can start in a system, and with 1 click, warp to and enter a station, but I have to warp to a gate, wait for the warp to finish before I can click a second time to jumpà Consistency would say I have to Jump to a station, wait for the warp to complete, then click to enter that stationà or Warp to a Gate and Jump with one click. At this point, many will argue that the Warp and Dock button is not working quite right, I have seen this bug myself, and so would suggest the 2 click (Click to Warp, Click to Enter after the Warp) method used on gates would be the easy answer as the Station warp and dock seems to have some bugsà
Feel free to both comment and add your own ôLittle inconsistenciesö.
Noob in training...

1. The drone thing is a known bug and has been for some time, sadly...use a program like Quickfit to see the true capabilities of your mining drones.
2. Yeah, that is a bit annoying.
3. That would be kinda neat actually. Might also make it slightly easier for macro programs as well though.

you're new here, arent you
Drones have been a consistent complaint for at least the last 18 months. Latest news is that apparently CCP has hired someone whose workload will be dedicated only to drone AI/Bugfixes.

For the gate issue, just click add as first waypoint, then warp to 0 and activate autopilot.
Not one click, but only takes about 3 seconds.
