Anyone attempted the new NPC ming ops in high-sec yet? I've read that they have the potential to be fairly lucrative but that some of the reinforcments really pack a whallop (maybe this is more in low and null-sec). At first glance it would seem that a PvP-fit Marauder might fare well, but this is really just speculation at this poont. There's also apparently a significant standings hit (not sure if this is just with the particular corporation or if it extends to overall Empire standings), but I haven't been able to find much in the way of details. Any comments, insight or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Edit: 121 views and no one has any information on these?
It's probably because no one actually fights the fleets since there's no money to be made there just a standing hit by killing their ships. It's the hauler that carry (RNG) the valuable stuff that's getting killed. Standing wise you will get a hit to the corp you are attacking, no other standings hit will occur. And since the most just kill the hauler that's easily tanked by a mission or two for said corp.
The ones that do fight the fleets "tends" (<- guessing wildly here) to do that when the response fleet consists of frigates. Killing all but one DPS ship so it doesn't spawn a new response fleet when attacking the scanned down hauler, seems to be the way go. |

So basically players kill the mining ship, avoid the reinforcement fleet and snipe the hauler for potential loot? Any bounties paid out on the NPC ships?

Don't think there's any bounty involved.
I am using gila with point and dps no thank whatsoever to kill hauler before fleet show up kill it warp out check D scan until response fleet despawn(few seconds to minute max) warp back tractor in the loot
There is t2 hauler with +2 warp strength that point cant hold i'm guessing that one hold more valuable loot but i,m guessing it need dark blood scram(+3)? and gila will not brake it before fleet lands so i need to refit to viable pvp setup before i attempt that.
All in all i like the risk and fighting frig spawn solo is fun but cruiser and battleship spawns are straight from hell and solo them is a waste of time primarily if not impossible.

I gather these are all high-sec ventures? What kind of loot/take are you seeing from the Haulers?

Yep high sec you asked about it yes?
Loot is slim skins from faction killed and occasional faction mining drone bpc also ore bout 20mil or so i ignore that due to cargo needed.
Skins and bpc you get from a secure box you can sell as is w/o opening it.
Then you can get just ore like you killed NPC miner(that sucks).
And then there's t2 haulers and i dont recall did i killed any of those possibly yes but got crappy loot(was using sleipnir with +3 scram and fight spawns before i decided to go lazy route aka gila).
That's about that.
Edit
About marauder its too slow to roam thru sectors and belts imo and is commitment way out of proportion if you don't find a way to drop frigs thru logi reps they do have BS will neut you eventually and pop you.

Do battleships arrive as reinforcements in high-sec or is it limited to frigates and cruisers only? I wonder if anyone has posted the reinforcement ship stats anywhere?

They do land i tend to think it is dependent on a ship you fly but could be random it is not often but they do.

Both i think and it could be random you might get spawn without scrams.
