Dear all,
next to the already existing channels like Twitter, Tweetfleet Slack or even ingame mails, this thread is another opportunity to give me feedback.
- Bugs - Of course I'm very interested in hearing from any bugs or errors that you may have spotted.
- Requests - If you have suggestions for shiny graphs you always wanted to see, lets hear them.
If you have a feature request please note the following:
- A4E only serves publicly available data
- Source data import can be automated
- Any feature requiring users to log in or enter an API key is not going to happen
A change log can be viewed here: http://mantis.tagemma.org/changelog_page.php Website itself: https://www.adam4eve.eu |

Version 0.0.7 has been deployed, which adds the tracking of structure/Citadel sell orders via new ESI endpoint. Thus both in the market order viewer as well as the market statistics sell orders are now shown and tracked.
Several other smaller fixes aswell. Since I've rewritten the market viewer partly, it is very likely that with some combination of the filters there will be bugs. Please report them here or via the other mediums. Thanks. http://mantis.tagemma.org/changelog_page.php |

Thanks for your feedback!

Deployed v0.0.8 that brings additional filter for the graph generator.
Please be aware since the graphs are generated in realtime depending on the data and filters you've selected as well as the load of the server it can take up to two minutes for the graph to display.
Some of the graphs that you are now able to create in addition to the previous possibilities (copy&paste links):
- How much ISK is being lost in each security sector to smart bombs?
Quote:https://www.adam4eve.eu/graph.php?src=zkill&arg=security&type=sector&metric=losses&func=value&sumUp=true&rank=now&lines=5&avg=1&history=3&weaponGroup=72
- How is the ISK war going for Pandemic Horde in Perimeter?
Quote:https://www.adam4eve.eu/graph.php?src=zkill&arg=total&type=none&metric=all&func=value&sumUp=false&rank=now&lines=5&avg=7&history=3&system=30000144&aally=99005338
- Which top 5 alliances dominate LowSec judged by the most number of kills?
Quote:https://www.adam4eve.eu/graph.php?src=zkill&arg=char&type=ally&metric=kills&func=count&sumUp=false&rank=history&lines=5&avg=7&history=6§or=low
- Which are the most used weapons on kills in NullSec?
Quote:https://www.adam4eve.eu/graph.php?src=zkill&arg=gun&type=item&metric=all&func=count&sumUp=true&rank=history&lines=5&avg=1&history=3§or=null
- Which kind of ships from Goonswarm Federation are mostly involved in successful attacks by them?
Quote:https://www.adam4eve.eu/graph.php?src=zkill&arg=ship&type=group&metric=kills&func=count&sumUp=true&rank=history&lines=5&avg=1&history=3&aally=1354830081
Since the filter combinations are "endless", there definately will be bugs in some combinations. Let me know if you encounter one or the data returned seems strange. Also feel free to reach out if you need a specific graph and need help with the right settings in the interface. |

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.
- Potentially easy to do, however the UI is already complex and crowded. And adding custom price input fields to each material at each level of the chain might make it unusable to 98% of the visitors. Thus would think rather of a dedicated table for example below the chain to set custom prices. Or any other UI ideas? But in general do-able thus added as feature request 271.
- Can you please make an example for this? In which end product chain would you do what ingame and thus which values would you expect to see for which material(s) in that scenario.
- Currently there are two values display for all materials of a chain except for P0. Top one is "Profit (single step)" as per mouseover tooltip of icon and shows the potential profit if you just have a factory for this product. You buy the input materials from the market and pay the import and export custom taxes.
The bottom row is the profit of the complete chain up to this material, if you extract the P0 resources yourself.
Thus currently a "one-step" factory like P1s --> P2, P2s --> P3 and P3s --> P4 where you buy the input is calculated and displayed. P2s --> P4 factory is currently not displayed within the chain, but in the "PI profitability" page. You'd also like to see the values for multiple-step factories in the chain or did I miss the question?

1. Thx for the use-case. Makes sense, and not too complicated, thus mid-term. (#271)
2&3. Yes, multi-step factories are not calculated in the chain view. Would need to get my head around how to design the UI for this and how to extend the JavaScript to cover all possible scenarios in the chain. Thus from my current view do-able but complex, therefore in the lower half of the feature queue. Added as #282.
The near-future roadmap is the following. Thus the before-mentioned will definately be after those.
- Station/system/region market/trade rankings
- Finishing trade advisor
- Finishing market search to allow custom market trend analysis as per "market trend" page
Again, thanks for the feedback. If you think "Man, if this would be different, this would be so much better" but don't inform the developer, then it will never happen. |

Deployed v0.0.9 that introduces market hub ranking.
Which stations (including conquerable stations and public player structures with market service modules) have the highest amount of buy or sell orders/volume set by players?
How does this look on a solar system or region level?
Limit the ranking to a specific
- region
- solar system
- security sector
Define if the ranking metric should be averaged across multiple days in order to avoid false ranking due to short term spikes.
On regional level in addition to the order volume and count you can add the metrics for performed trades.
- Number of trades players completed
- Number of items that changed hands (1M Trit = 1M items)
- Number of item types traded (1M Trit = 1 type)
- Total amount of ISK that changed hands
Hope this is useful for some people and as always please report any bugs or suggestions you may have.

Two API imports from two different endpoints are needed to get "all" market orders.
- Public endpoint to get all order at NPC stations + ranged buy orders of player structures
- Authenticated endpoint to get all buy and sell orders at player structures that I've got docking permissions (=are public)
Ranged buy orders of structures are returned by both API endpoints and thus exist twice in the DB during import runtime. These duplicates are deleted once the import is complete. Thus every 4 hours for about 30 minutes (avg. import runtime) the structure buy metrics are reported too high, if the structure has ranged buy orders... which most have near exclusively which explains the factor between your screenshots. Sell metrics are not affected.
Thank you for noticing this issue. I've recorded bug #295 for this, but won't fix yet, since CCP is still tinkering with the ESI structure endpoints.

Today v0.0.11 has been deployed bringing the following changes:
Backfilling of new PLEX The new PLEX (Mini-PLEX) is a complete new commodity and therefore has no market history. On A4E the history has be calculated based on the previous PLEX price. See here: https://www.adam4eve.eu/commodity.php?typeID=44992
Market hub top volume orders and troll status 0% tax market hubs allow for troll sell orders selling a 1MN AB for 800B ISK since the tax for that orders is only 100 ISK. Goal is to make the trade hub appear to have more volume and thus be more attractive as it really is. A4E attempts to identify and to filter these orders. This filter has been improved with v0.0.11. Furthermore the work of this filter can be checked via a view of the top volume orders of a specific trade hub. See here: https://www.adam4eve.eu/topvol_orders.php?stationID=1023164547009
And some other, smaller improvements and fixes. Here is the full changelog.
As always please report any bugs or suggestions you may have. |

Hi,
that's because of the recent change to the structure API endpoint by CCP. See my Twitter message.
The structures that are not fully "freeport" are not visible via the structure API anymore, thus the sell orders importer doesn't know about them. Need to add to the code that also sell orders for those structures that are only visible via ranged buy orders is queueried. |

Deployed a hotfix that:
- Fetches sell orders again for structures that fell out of the API since CCPs 9th May patch
- Calculates volume metrics for those structures
- Fixes the top volume order page for these non-freeport structures
- Adds freeport indicator to the structure markets table
The definition for "freeport" is that it is served by CCP via the ESI structure endpoint. Details in CCPs 3rd party dev blog. |

v0.0.12 has been deployed. Apart from the usual small fixes and changes it brings the market order tracker.
A4E now tracks the market order book of the major trade hubs several times an hour and records the changes.
This allows to
- estimate the amount of trade done in a specific station/structure. CCP provides this information only on a regional level!
- estimate the amount of income a player owned market hub could be making.
The market hub page has been extended accordingly. Please note that clicking on any of the numbers in the columns will take you to a detailed page for that metric.
This will be the last accouncement on this (old) forum. I'll be creating a new feedback and annoucement thread in the new forum shortly.
Here is the full changelog.
As always please report any bugs or suggestions you may have. |
