I've been playing with one of the ships CCP gave us free. I think it's called a Gnosis or something like that. It's probably irrelevant. I had a FIT that I enjoyed using. There were two modules I had to swap out depending on what I was doing, for lack of enough CPU. But I was pretty sure that whichever module I had fitted, all the rest of my modules were online and usable. But the other day, after one of the updates, I noticed that one of my modules was offline. (A webber I think. doesn't matter) I looked at the fitting screen and saw that the module needed 30 CPU and I had 29.9 CPU left. At one point when I tried to turn it on, it gave me messaging that I had 29.89 cpu left. I don't know how much CPU I had left before, if any. So my question is, did one of the recent updates change the way things are rounded up or down? Could that have changed my available CPU?
I'm not discounting the possibility that I was flying around with a module offline and didn't know, but I'm 99.9% sure that wasn't the case, that I had been using the module with no problem. |

Uh, when's the last time you flew it?
Because your killboard shows that your most recent pod loss included a Genolution CA-2 implant, which would have increased your CPU.

Hmmm, I didn't think of something like that. But this problem is something I noticed in the last week or two. But maybe it just took me awhile to notice the problem. I don't even know how to look up my killboard from here, unless you did it in game. I'll have to take a look at it. Didn't make sense to me that I could have lost skill, but that is certainly a way I could have. Thank you SurrenderMonkey for your helpful comment! :)

Not skill, you no longer lose skillpoints when podded. The issue was the implant you lost on this killmail: https://zkillboard.com/kill/55056770/ It was giving you a 1.5% bonus to CPU. |

Didn't even know about that Killboard site. Thanks for the link Amanda. That's not it though. That happened months ago in July. I didn't even have that ship I'm talking about yet. Wish I had a record I could look up to see if I replaced any implants recently.
Can I ask you two another question? My very last Ship loss, 47 days ago, is listed as both a kill and a loss. Looks like I blew myself up. If I was killed by a gas cloud in a Sleeper Data site or something like that, would it show up like I killed myself? I guess my biggest problem is poor long term memory. :D |

It's up to date, but since it's an unofficial fan site, it doesn't have access to all of EVE's kills (since they're private until the kill link is shared). The killboard only knows about kills that either the attacker or the victim has posted.

Sorry, no idea about that one. You're only supposed to get a killmail when you get the final hit on a player ship. |

Oh, so that jerk that killed me for no reason was bragging about it. Well now I feel even better about spending the bounty money. :D
Anyways, my last lost was an Astero and the line that shows who killed you says "Astero / Secure Depot" and the pic of the seure depot looks like a data site. Just weird how it showed up on both my losses and my kill lists.
Anyways, I now see that my current fit on the ship I've been talking about doesn't match my saved fitting for that ship. So I must have changed it and not noticed the problem until later. I'm sure it's my error.
Sorry if I have wasted you two's time, but you did help me in a couple of ways. The lost implant may not be what caused my problem, but it is the solution to my problem. Just installed a new one. Whew expensive! :D thanks for the info!

My Helios lost to Sleeper site gas cloud is shown only in losses and killer is Plasma Cloud/Unknown.
Maybe you ejected from it when it was in low structure? I've heard this makes the ship lose that additional HP from your skills and as result it blows with you being killer.
