There is a rig for increasing powergrid, but not for cpu? Search results yielded nothing. A thousand pardons if I'm incompetent using the eve market, and I missed it.

There are? Could have sworn they were all increasing cpu in form of drawbacks.

The only one I see the liquid Cooled Electronics rig, which reduces the CPU need of modules which require the electronics upgrades skill.

if your setup is short 1-2 tf, then this rig is a life saver...and should be cheap to boot.
Im always 1 tf short on my setups, drives me crazy.

If your setup includes 2-4 sensor boosters... and something like a CCC can go in that rig slot.
--- Indigo Fade is now selling jumpclones for superb prices, please see Marquis Dean's bio and/or evemail/convo him ingame.

Still tho, theres alot of engy rigs while almost none rigs that effect electronic systems of the ship.
Would be nice to see same rig as gives 10 or 15% to grid, same for CPU. ---

Edited by: madaluap on 19/04/2007 21:58:20 This isnt 100% true, its not perfect, but i allways felt that:
Powergrid is there to make sure you dont fit too "large" modules on your ship, like neutron2+1600mm+2* medium armor rep 2 on a thorax for example.
CPU is there to add flavour. To make shieldtanks work better on medslot heavy ships and also make sure some fittings dont work so that you can avoid overpowered setups.
Capacitor makes sure, that things end after a while.
Allthough a PG rig is pretty strong, its not all that overpowered. You still have CPU issues, to keep setups balanced and there are choices to be made. For example fit a PG rig, but you cannot fit a Damage or tankrig in that slot. That means it might be a good idea to fit less PG heavy guns or repairmodules so you can fit another rig.
CPU rigs, gives ships the option to produce weird setups and makes miners overpowered (oh lol did i type that). PGrigs makes things just bigger, better. While CPUrigs make setups that arent natural.
I M O, that is. _________________________________________________ Breetime

Edited by: Bellac on 19/04/2007 23:11:34 Bottom line is I agree. Problem is it would probably upset the fine balance of mining ships and allow 2 mining upgrades on a coveter. For some reason any sort of boost to lowly miners is frowned upon so it will never happen IMHO
