I'd totaly armor tank it and put some drones in the bay might fit some guns, might not, hard to tell
But yeah, if you want a proper answer, then suply what you wana do with it for a start secondly, you will lose a navy vexor if you don't even know how to fit it in the first place, sell it insted :) |

i loved my navy vexor, not sure on the exact setup but i almost won a duel with a t2 fitted raven so
i think it basically consisted of:
High: nos and a couple small blasters to pop those drones
meds: scram web cap booster mwd/ab
lows: 2x med rep tank of somesort. maybe 1 exp hard 1 dmg con 1 energized nano. maybe 3 hardners i honestly dont remember.

As if we all have one.
I'm tempted to scream ebay, but I won't yet.
So yeah, fit like a Vexor. Do you know what a Vexor is?

saying fit it like a vexor aint the most valid comment. i hate bog standard vexors. i love navy vexors.
i generally plate my vexors and pray for the best. i tank my navy vexor.
might be ebay. might be valid.
this didnt contribute much, but i dont have much to do so

Who needs a tank. Not enough? get a clue, If I wanted to tank i would be in an Ishtar.

no vampire, no injector. your cap wont last 1 min that setup would loose to a vexor. that extra dps will do you no good despite fighting against a nos ship. the extra dps is not that big.

What is the point in this thread? you ask people what they fit on there ship, then attempt to flame us by suggesting that your lame setup is somehow all conquering.
I for one dont even believe you ever intend to 'PvP' in the ship, if you even own it in the first place.

Edited by: steveid on 23/04/2007 15:01:03 Since pretty much everyone is getting flamed i thought i'd post a setup that will work real well, but wont be very popular :D.
IMO the only reason to have a navy vexor over a ishtar is to speed tank it. The extra low slot and rig place gives it the edge so ...

284 DPS with spike
does close to 3.5 km/s with basic plants. Not an awsome ship but does decentish damage and is fairly hard to kill. You can do similer with an ishtar with obviously more dps.
vs battleships i'd keep your drones in until you have dispatched his with your guns and close rnage ammo. Then get out the spike and keep at range while hitting him. To solo a bs they'd probably have to be a noob tho. Anything lower than a battleship i'd consider switching out for javelin, getting close ange and hitting them hard.
Some ppes are using ogre's here, personally i'd prefer the backup of a complete new set of drones, or another damage type JIC. Personal choice i suppose.

The Navy Vexor has a 100m3 dronebay, as opposed to the regular Vexor's 75m3. So more drones.

Sell it and buy an Ishtar.
I had one for a while but it's just a novelty item... maybe use it for lvl3s. Not worth PvPing in unless you want to be primary.

Holy crap these setups make me cry.
www.siigarikitawa.com/navyvexmemorial.avi
I mean they're ok... but they don't take advantage of the ability for the Navy Vex to tank like an insane cruiser.
Okay here we go:
Dronebay: 5 Hammerhead II 5 Hobgoblin II
High: 3 Heavy Nos, 2 Med Nos Med: MWD/Scram/Web Low: T2/Faction med rep, 4 energized membranes (double up on highest resistance you want), armor plate.

Yeah, agreed, if you buy 80mil ship doesnt mean you have 500mil for fittings.
I thought as something:
2-3 Nosfs, 2-3 150 IIs.
1x AB II, 1x Web, 1x Disruptor
1x MAR II, 2x EANM, 1x DCU II, 1x Plate 800 or 1600 and either another MAR II or Explosive Hardener.
4 Heavy drones.

Been trying to find a nice fit for this ship. Currently trying :
HIGHS 2 x Diminishing Medium NOS 2 x Diminishing Small NOS 1 x Small NRG Neut II
MIDS 1 x MWD II 1 x Fleeting Web 1 x 2pt Scram
LOWS 1 x Medium Rep II 1 x Medium Accomodation (no fitting left for T2 :( ) 1 x Explosive Hardner 2 x EAN II 1 x DCU II
Can't say I have tried it yet, but really wanted to get a dual rep setup. I'd probably switch the Small NOS / Neut for 3 x Small Neutron Balster II's.

What i use:
5* 150mm 2 railgun
10mn mwd 2 warp disrupter 2 1* medium capinjector 2 (800)
1* medium armor rep 2 1* Eanm 2 1* dark blood adaptive plating 1* damage control 2 1* 800mm rolled thungsten
7* hammerhead 2 6* warrior 2
It can keep everything running fulltime just on the capinjector. So just orbit outside webrange, if you do get caught dont worry, it still has a very decent tank. _________________________________________________ Breetime
