How about making eve pegi 18? I think eve wouldn't lose customers. Because eve. And the ones they lose are probably alphas that will never pay anyway. The thing is the devs might have more freedom in creating content. And be more adult friendly.

PEGI 18 The adult classification is applied when the level of violence reaches a stage where it becomes a depiction of gross violence and/or includes elements of specific types of violence. Gross violence is the most difficult to define since it can be very subjective in many cases, but in general terms it can be classed as the depictions of violence that would make the viewer feel a sense of revulsion.
Why would that ever apply to Eve. What sort of content could be created that would cause revulsion and at the same time, give the devs more freedom?
It's still just mainly spaceships blowing up and corpses in space, no matter what the content. |

Eve's rating isn't holding back its development, the rating is something that's applied based on what the devs do. The Devs don't get to just decide what rating their game has... |

And I hade this idea to attach adult videos to exotic dancers. Also they could use strong language as well

Depends a bit. In EVE case, it's probably like that but many games have toned down their most graphic violence scene for example so they could dodge the higher rating which in some place could limit sales of the product to minor for example. |

The spaceship on spaceship violence causes hundreds if not thousands of virtual deaths.... Also wouldn't discrimination make it automatically PEGI 18? Or mention of Drugs and their extensive usage? Example of encouraging discrimination: "EAT THIS YOU CALDARI SCUM!!!" Or seeing the coincidence that amarr are white and slavers while minmatar are mostly of a darker skin colour and used to be enslaved by Amarr. Coincidence? I think not.... |

In relation to the rest of your questions, you can read the classification explanations here:
http://www.pegi.info/en/index/id/33/
You can see the list of PEGI18 games here:
http://www.mobygames.com/attribute/sheet/attributeId,426/
EVE doesn't approach any of those in terms of violence, sex, language, drugs, gambling, etc. |
