Hi, and thanks to whoever takes the time to answer my cuestion.
I just installed EVE, and I've been trying to figure this out;
So, install was fine, no errors, my hardware is capable, etcetera; but, I have no mouse pointer when it goes fullscreen, everything else is just fine, only the pointer is missing, and only in fullscreen; window and fixed window modes work like a charm.
I've been playing in fixed window and it doesn't bother me, except for the video that is supposed to have better performance in fullscreen.
Anyone else got this issue?
Thx again. |

Never got this thing ever.. whats your mouse brand/model?
Have you changed anything recently in your PC? Updated some software maybe (other than eve of course)? |

Is it a laptop by any chance? Mate of mine gets exact same thing with his gaming laptop. Interestingly he gets the same thing on the DayZ title screen so we don't think it's to do with EvE necessarily but more likely a driver issue with either the mouse or the GPU. Both DayZ and EvE work fine for him in windowed mode

Mouse Acceleration maybe?:
Do this: Go the Control Panel, select Hardware and Sound, and then Devices and Printers. Choose your mouse from the menu of devices. Click the Pointer Options tab in the Mouse Properties window. Uncheck the box next to Enhance pointer precision. Click Apply.
Also, sometimes it can be mouse trails, but not many people use those anymore.

Nobody will mock you at the New Citizens Q&A. Well, some people will try but that shtt is forbidden in this subforum.
Also to Madpuppet, how'd you guess? From experience? Thats a really bonked out quirk..

Wow, kudos for a really obscure fix.
My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.

Experience (20+ years of professional IT), 40 years of tinkering with comptuers. Almost any video game that has a cursor issue, turning off mouse acceleration is one of the first troubleshooting steps.
