Hi folks,
as title suggests, i would like to get into nullsec ded sites, or maybe start in lowsec as i hear highsec is too contested.
I can fly a Tengu, all subsystems at 5, and decent missile skills.
my intention is to ninja them with a travel fit and mobile depot, is this do-able?
what sort of dps do i need to be dishing out and what tank is better? i see ppl using hams and others using hml. i dont mind a bit of a bling fit but nothing too ott.
thoughts and advice appreciated |

It is doable, only one "but" missiles will took large portion of your cargohold. For example I'm using 3500-4000 hams for DED 5, with used bonus, unbonused dmg will eat more. Higher DED will need more. It's inefficient that way.

thanks for the reply, wasn't something I had actually considered. so if I said I would be looking at around 70m3 for ammo, with my combat fit and mobile depot, my available cargo would be pretty sparce. Can't get onto eve at the moment but iirc I'd be left with around 70m3 for loot..
In the past I have joined two renter corps in Null, and both times after not playing for a Cpl of weeks and the second time 6 days, I logged on to find the corp had packed up shop and moved, the first time I lost all my ships, managed to sell them to the new owners but lost over 700m in assets and the second time around 300m so I am loathed to do it again, and don't wish to have to commit to be online every single day making sure nothing serious is about to change.
This Is why I thought about ninja-ing the sites, but from the sounds of it I would have enough space to maybe loot one site? therefore as you say, pretty inefficient

Not worth it unless you carry a freighter full of ammo with you. Subsystems takes too much cargospace, missiles volume are twice high as ammo. Where do you want to go?

well my objective was to just run them as I find them scouting around the universe although this sounds not possible now. although I can fly a dst, so if I could find somewhere in ns to stage out of, I wouldn't mind running a load of missiles down in one of those..
im not sure which of the sites are easier, is it guristas? I hear blood raiders are tough |

I have found 2 systems with stations in my exploring stomping ground in guristas space, that I did not know were there
any chance of a decent fit for gurista rats ? I did de-bling a fit that someone sent me, his fit was 5b, mine ended up around a bil. fitting is not my strongest point in the game as never ran missions, not even lvl 1s I did mining then trade then exploration. ive travelled around loads and know how to avoid camps etc etc just struggle with fits, and all the fits I see online are old so possibly outdated..?
I trade for isk, risk ships for isk, it's all about the space pennies baby! Billionaire living, Trillionaire dreaming!!

You can use those old fits as a basic starting point and then fine tune em in a ship fitting app with your skills imported. There's a few different 3rd party fitting apps available. Since I'm old school I still use EFT (Eve Fitting Tool).

If you want to start doing DED sites, I suggest not starting in Guristas space. |

Personally I believe that Low sec is a better bet. The sites are way faster to run, No need for the Nullification Sub and the drops are on par with if not much better than Null. (Invuls, EANM ect)
Big issue is that Gurista Low Sec can be pretty busy and competition is high. |
