ok since the last 2 patches ive been getting this wierd bug, where im told the client has been modified or corrupted, and to reinstall it.
so i do and eve is ok, then after a few more log-ins it does the exact same thing, now after a restart it sometimes doesnt say it anymore, and then stops logging in alltogether and totally breaks the client.
anyone else know whats going on? -NEVER CONFUSE OPINNION WITH FACT-

Same here, It happened after changing modes in SLI which I am really struggling with in Eve.
Anyone have any knowledge what to set SLI too for a computer running two Eve accounts??

I had that problem too, it was related to a problem with the SATA controller on my mobo, data kept getting corrupted usually a chkdsk |drive name| /f and a reboot would fix it, but it was annoying so i bought an addin card, and so far it has been working just fine.
For the record the controller was the nvidia one from my nforce 3 250 based mobo.

I have this problem too, although it takes a few days for it to happen, but at an hour and a half to download the client each time, it's increadibly freaking inconvenient.
My computer is a multimedia center, and most of the stuff in it is very recent or just below the level of 'bleeding edge' related to other pc's so I doubt it's an issue with hardware.
I also noticed that this started happening a few patches back, I think the second or third really major patch after Revalations was added to the source code.

There is just one way to find out whether or not it's the hardware or not, do a complete diagnostic of your hardware. Start with a couple runs of Memtest86+, do a complete scan of your harddisk drive(s) and use a motherboard utility to measure the voltages on your power supply.
How recent the stuff in your computer doesn't mean jack about whether or not it can be craptastic (a good example is the bug with the nforce 680i sli chipset).
